InterSystems Senior Technical Product Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Duties: Work with senior management & development to help define InterSystems solutions for interoperability. Undertake competitor analysis to help define the InterSystems value proposition & enhance win rates. Help define solutions for international sales opportunities & Managed Services offerings within InterSystems that involve one or more InterSystems products or offerings and help drive the go-to-market strategy and related operational plans. Develop and integrate market and related research into defined solutions to ensure correct positioning for solutions and represent the company at customer, partner and industry events. Work with Development Teams and other Product Management groups on TrakCare, HealthShare and IRIS providing and receiving input into the product and working with teams to identify and resolve product issues. Work closely with Sales and Professional Services to receive feedback from the field and assess the roadmap accordingly. Position duties include: Responsible for all aspects of solution definition during the roadmap planning process including architecture functional component choices, integration & interfacing requirements, technical delivery definition managed service, hosting, cloud, security and non-functional areas including performance, deployment and configuration and operational support, pricing; Liaise with development and delivery partners, both within InterSystems and with third parties for additional solution components as required including working closely with each InterSystems product group owners responsible for strategic direction and development; Partner closely with the regional Sales team responsible for each opportunity to ensure successful delivery of bid proposals; Support healthcare software solutions implementation and sales including assessing user requirements/needs, defining architecture and best practices for implementation from a product management perspective; Mentor staff to build product expertise, refine implementation methodology, identify product gaps and requirements as well as define solution architectures that address immediate client needs and satisfy future requirements in a stable and reliable way; Provide technical leadership on solution governance within InterSystems, ensuring all relevant parties are in agreement on the proposed solution, the associated costs, and functional, non-functional requirements, including financial, commercial and legal; Build in-depth knowledge of customer business priorities, challenges and initiatives to translate back into InterSystems solution opportunities; Determine a common approach to proposed solutions including establishing and maintaining a common solution set or Solution Packs, relevant to and in support of multiple bids include ongoing liaison with individual product owners and input into the strategic portfolio direction taken by InterSystems; and Serve as a bridge between development, delivery, marketing and Sales organizations. 10% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted 1-2 days per week. Requirements: Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or a closely related field & two years of experience in any role performing healthcare software solutions implementation and sales including assessing user requirements/needs, defining architecture, implementation, product management, Object Oriented Programming languages; SOA Architectures; Cloud environment and tools such as Containers and Kubernetes; Healthcare standards and protocols such as HL7 and FHIR. In lieu of bachelors degree and two years of experience, employer will accept four years of the same experience. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
