The goal of the Senior Lead Field Marketing Manager for the large enterprise segment is to be a strategic eco-system partner, driving local marketing strategy that is aligned to the NAM GTM strategy and Key Initiatives as defined by the President of NAM Sales and support to the local sales team in order to acquire new logos leveraging our strategic solutions and create new opportunities with current customers. The role will focus on the following areas: local marketing strategy for the GM markets that is tied to NAM key initiatives and GTM strategy, lead/target/high engagement communication & tracking, localized sales enablement, and an active member of the NA marketing team.
The Main Responsibilities
Local Marketing Lead for GM Markets
Responsible for building and executing local marketing plan (local market = GM)
Manages and maximizes the local budget and emphasizes every opportunity from corporate, NAM Marcom, Vertical Tea, Key Accounts Manager, and other teams to drive acquisition marketing and follow through
Responsible for building and executing local market prospecting plan
Responsible for local PR (communications conduit to Corporate PR)
Responsible for local market (sales/sales director/GM) feedback on launches, programs, and other marketing-supported activity
Responsible for marketing communication to the local market GM, Key Account and LE Sales Directors, and Account Directors on a regular cadence including:
Responsible for marketing communication to the local market eco-system members on a regular cadence (Engineers, Overlays, etc.)
Responsible for contributing to Local Market Plan (LMP) reviews by providing the Marketing Plan, attending the LMP, and taking any marketing actions from the meeting
Responsible for understanding: Local GM market close ratio, contribution, yield %, funnel, top opportunities, funnel velocity, etc. how the marketing programs are impacting local market performance
Responsible for following up on market-driven MRFs
Provides regular performance updates to the GMs and SDs that they support.
Lead Communication and Tracking
Responsible for ROI tracking of local Marketing Plan (and specific tactics). Accountable for measuring every tactic or is familiar with how the tactic is being measured.
Responsible for communication and support of national tradeshows in and out of region
Responsible for following up with Sales to assure Warm Leads are actioned
Responsible for pre and post follow up of all virtual and physical event attendees
Localized Sales Enablement
Responsible for local sales activation & product/solution launch activation
Is familiar with the general market and its specific enablement needs
Is familiar with the accounts in the region and is actively working to improve the sales team knowledge and insights into those accounts
Responsible for local market strategic engagements with sales and eco-system including:
High engagement alerts
Responsible for directing sellers to where/how they get sales tool provisioning (LinkedIn Navigator, MSC & EveryoneSocial, ZoomInfo, Anaplan, etc.)
Responsible for setting up Sales Tool training with SMEs
Responsible for providing sales guidance on how to gather intelligence (Intelligence Portal)
Responsible for reviewing Propensity/Heatmap/Model intelligence with sales
Responsible for driving social media adoption and activation in the local market
Is responsible for tracking the effectiveness and participation of enablement
Responsible for attending and actively contributing to all relevant NA Marketing meetings (All Hands, Alignment call, office hours, launch calls, etc.) with video on
Responsible for ad hoc projects and tiger teams as assigned by the larger NA Marketing team
Responsible for personal development plan
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related discipline
5+ years of enterprise (B2B) marketing or technology marketing experience
Well versed in all business functions, including marketing, sales, finance, HR, operations, and IT
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen effectively and communicate in a proactive fashion.
Strong team player with a positive attitude to enhance the culture
Executive presence, interacting with VP level regularly
Ability to analyze information, ask questions, and gain insights that lead to strategic answers.
Thrives on ambiguity and can define a path forward regardless of roadblocks or challenges
Results-Oriented leader with prior successful experience in a dynamic, highly matrixed corporate environment, who is detail-oriented and has a strong focus on delivery milestones
Ability to travel (20%)
Prepared to leverage modern marketing concepts Account Based Marketing, social selling, propensity modeling, and intent data and sales/marketing automation
Well-versed in customer journey mapping, outcome-based messaging, and sense making.
Solutions or product marketing experience and/or product management experience
