Amazon Web Services Senior Program Manager, Cloud Intelligence Sales Optimization in Boston, Massachusetts

This team’s goal is to understand the impact factors that are driving sales opportunities to close by using available internal data and mechanisms to capture data and perform in-depth analysis. As a Sr. Cloud Intelligence Optimization Manager, you will be responsible for helping the team scale and drive efficiency into these programs and mechanisms, so that they are able to effectively identify insights for leadership.

You’ll bring your deep operations and program building experience to this role in order to define, plan, and execute on enterprise-level transformation programs. Your track record of creating and running major programs will enable you to efficiently track and enhance sales performance at AWS..

Roles & Responsibilities

· Reduce ambiguity by providing clear guidance and recommendations and documenting all key Program information (Program description, milestones, risk identification and mitigation plans, status reports, communication plans, launch plans).

· Serve as a key member of the team to help complete analysis and deliver actionable insights to sales leadership.

· Partner with multiple stakeholder groups to identify areas of interest for the business and scope projects to analyze impact and make recommendations.

· Understand key requirements of our customers and partners, and determine how their needs can best be met.

· Produce insights by being able to distill large quantitative data sets and qualitative anecdotes into digestible deliverables.

· Handle a high volume of engagements and deliver on time-bound projects.

· Work directly with global sales data to orchestrate metrics, key performance indicators and decision criteria.

· Work with stakeholders to define program scope, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop milestones to ensure timely completion of programs.

· Create playbooks/Project Plans and establish a cadence of review processes that align our international Cloud Intelligence team around common goals and strategic objectives.

· Define metrics and KPIs to measure success of strategic initiatives and programs and report on their progress.

This position can be located in Arlington VA, Boston, Dallas, or Seattle.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams. Background knowledge of Enterprise Technology and business-to-business sales functions preferred.

· 2+ years of experience in program or project management focused roles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to turn conceptual ideas for mechanisms into scalable and repeatable processes that require minimal manual intervention.

· Clear track record of managing complex projects and programs while demonstrating exceptional judgement.

· PMP, Six Sigma, or other industry-recognized certification for program management.

· Technical comprehension to translate needs from analytics and automation focused projects and programs into repeatable processes and mechanisms.

· Strong communication skills – one to one, one to many, executive-level readouts and presentations, and excellent writing capabilities.

· Entrepreneurial and self-sufficient: work with little oversight, delivering high-quality results and driving own agenda.

· Technical understanding of cloud concepts in general and/or specific technologies, services, platforms and solutions.
