US Marketing & Operations (USM&O) is the ‘Marketing and COO’ function for Microsoft United States (MSUS), also known as the US subsidiary. USM&O executes company strategy and priorities that enable us to achieve our business goals with a focus on B2B customer engagement by developing and executing on go-to-market programs (GTMs), Marketing Campaigns, and a Field Operating Model. Driving a common operating model across the US subsidiary ensures consistent, measurable execution and landing of priorities.

Role Scope:

Our team, part of the Modern Work, Surface + Security team in the US M&O, is responsible for the business strategy and integrated marketing Microsoft’s cross cloud Security offerings. We are looking for an experienced and driven marketing professional to grow Microsoft 365 E3/E5 revenue in the US by driving the execution and local strategy of our Enterprise Sales plays with a focus on Security, Compliance and Identity. This is a highly visible role, often incubating new sales plays and offerings, together with subsidiary leaders as well as the worldwide teams. You will also track and drive insights around our key sales plays to inform the go-to-market plans of the broader marketing team. And you will develop and own recommendations and strategy adjustments to ensure successful outcomes for this business and will represent the business to senior leaders.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Own the Enterprise Sales Plays in the US. This includes building deep expertise in how the sales plays are defined, building the execution strategy &landing plan for the US, and having coaching conversation with field sellers and managers. It also includes running a rhythm to gain and share insights with the senior leaders in MSUS.

  • Drive strategy recommendations and go-to-market adjustments for the US based on deep upsell knowledge, and feedback from customers, sellers and partners.

  • Collaborate across sales, marketing and WW roles to land and actively manage the existing sales plays and incubation programs like Compliance 100.

  • Lead development of local enterprise price promotions and seller incentives

  • Be an advocate for SCI team in product and program conversations, to ensure timely feedback on product marketing and campaign execution at the subsidiary level



  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing required with a proven track record of delivering tangible business results. Sales experience desired.

  • A passion for marketing & sales with the ability to clearly articulate solutions in a business and customer-centric manner; knowledge Security, Compliance and/or Identity solutions preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills to analyze business performance, identify market opportunity and develop useful insights from data.

  • Ability to view a business holistically end-to-end across Marketing and Sales.

  • Proven ability to influence without authority, collaborate effectively, and lead virtual teams.

  • Exceptionally strong communication & interpersonal skills; experience presenting to senior leaders.

  • Ability to handle and thrive in ambiguous business situations.

  • This role will require some domestic travel.

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $103700 and $187700.
