Senior Product Marketing Manager - Institutional


  • In support of an Institutional audience, develop the product marketing program and strategy, including product messaging and positioning of products; communication plan and implementation plan that is consistent with the global Columbia Threadneedle Investments strategy. Coordinate with Company-wide partners, including investments teams, product managers, distribution and marketing globally to ensure one integrated strategy, plan and process for program implementation.

  • Provide tactical direction and support for program implementation. Write product positioning and marketing collateral for products. Drive execution of projects on-time, with excellence in quality, in budget and on brand. Build and manage relationships with internal or external business partners (i.e. consultant relations) to drive marketing programs. Work with internal and external agencies to develop and update marketing materials. This includes content development, writing, editing, review and production process oversight.

  • Develop, manage and continually improve program content, requirements and process. Develop metrics and monitor results of all programs or initiatives and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years relevant experience

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with or lead across the organization, geographies, and at all levels to drive results

  • Experience servicing/marketing to an Institutional audience

  • Highly effective communication skills as well as writing /editorial skills

  • Proven ability to lead, influence, communicate and interact with people at all levels across the organization

  • Strong project management skills

  • Creative and strategic in solving problems as well as the ability to be flexible as needs change, and willing to do hands-on work

  • Extensive knowledge of MS PowerPoint is essential.
