Senior Product Manager

Job Description:

The Senior Product Manager is an individual contributor that is responsible for managing and developing new aspects of the Bank of America branded consumer credit card products with the goals of growing responsibly to win market share. In this role, you're responsible for identifying, defining, and guiding the delivery of the next generation of features and products to meet the changing needs of our clients.

Senior Product Manager Additional Responsibilities include:

· Begins with fact led hypothesis supported by social and industry trends and client behavior

· Confirmed thru Voice of Client Research

· Makes recommendations in partnership with finance and develops a Business Case

· Collaborates with stakeholders to develop use cases to identify the design

· With technology and user experience, responsible for ensuring the translation of the business requirements meets the LOB vision

· Includes working with support partners to conduct market research and competitor analyses

· Develop short and long-term strategies/outlooks for assigned product(s), and designing and tailoring products to meet customers' needs

· Competencies required include demonstrated strategic planning/product management skills, strong analytical skills

· Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources

Required Skills:

· 4+ years experienced analytical discipline who can spot a trend or opportunity with data

· Self-starter, displays strong sense of ownership for the product, the client experience, and their assigned initiatives

· Ability to influence cross-functional teams and/or senior management through verbal and written communications

· Efficient and highly organized with attention to detail

· Innovative, ability to think creatively and is adept at problem-solving, issue resolution and time management

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)

· Proficiency with data analysis and business reporting tools (Tableau & MicroStrategies)

Desired Skills:

· 7 to 10 years of related experience

· Related experience, preferably in product or digitally related functions

· Process design experience

· Credit Card, SB Card, Deposits, Call Center, Financial Center and/or Digital channel knowledge

· Bachelor's degree
