Job DescriptionJob DescriptionU.S. Bank is searching for a Product Manager within its Investment Advisor Services division. The candidate should have a background working closely with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). A deep understanding of the demands and goals of both the RIA and the end-client is required. Given their extensive knowledge of RIA technology and operations, the candidate will lead the development of new products as well as the maintenance and adoption of existing products. Informed by research and customer requirements, the candidate will build and manage the RIA product roadmap and be responsible for the full life cycle of current and future product journeys.

As necessary, the product manager will partner with marketing and sales teams to assist with product awareness and distribution. Additionally, the Product Manager will work closely with leaders across Wealth Management and Investment Services and will be asked to build both internal and external strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate will be an effective negotiator with strong communication and project management skills. The Product Manager will work with Risk and Compliance to ensure that products are developed and managed in accordance with U.S. Bank policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Research product gaps and perform actionable analysis
  • Identify and facilitate strategic partnerships
  • Drive the product roadmap
  • Own the implementation and ongoing integration of all new products

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Ten or more years of related work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience - Preference for candidates with previous financial services industry experience, especially a background focuses in Registered Investment Advisor product management - Knowledge of Custody and related securities products (stock, bonds, mutual funds, Trust, IRA, 401k) - 5+ years of project/process management experience - Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills - Able to effectively negotiate partnerships - Goal-oriented and organized leadership - Strong project management skills - Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively - Self-motivated and self-directed - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff and management - Inspires commitment, high energy, and positive attitudes
