Who We Are Seeking

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager for Commerce Cloud to strategize, define, & deliver infrastructure and availability tooling, products, and features across initiatives within Commerce Cloud, with a focus on our ongoing scalability of our cloud platform. Most of our overall team is based in Burlington, MA. Infrastructure, Performance, & Scale are critical elements for success and differentiation of any Platform as a Service. It is of particular importance to Commerce Cloud as we embark on the journey to build the next generation for the Commerce Platform.

The teams you will work with operate in an agile environment spanning many infrastructure and scale domains. We operate services supporting our B2C Commerce Platform, but it is of particular importance to Commerce Cloud as we embark on the journey to build the next generation for the Commerce Platform that you can provide deep insights across for its development, scalability, and supportability. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Own the product management lifecycle: research opportunities and pain points, drive the vision, define how the solution will work and related user experiences, analyze data and customer feedback

  • Continually improve performance of every aspect our current Commerce Platform by methodically making investments across our full Tech stack. This is an initiative with direct customer and ACV impact.

  • Be the Product Owner(PO) for engineering teams to lay out an appealing vision, build a technical roadmap and execute against it

The candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage a product from conception through to market success. This includes articulating the product strategy (and how that strategy supports broader platform and business unit strategies), understanding the market needs being addressed by the product, executing a clear plan iteratively to create a product satisfying those needs, and driving adoption and commercial success of a product once launched. The ideal candidate would have familiarity with API-first design principles, including a domain driven design approach, and experience with public cloud, infrastructure, and availability related subject matter.

Required Skills

  • Strong Customer focus and exceptional communication

  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in building, transitioning, and scaling services

  • Ability to make informed and timely decisions, based on data but in the face of uncertainty

  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration

  • A knack for data driven decision making to measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to differentiate

  • Ability to engage in and influence technical discussions with engineering teams

  • Make technology and design related trade-off decisions

  • Excel in cross-functional collaboration and enablement, such as supporting client facing teams (sales, support, services, etc) to ensure successful product/feature delivery

  • Ability to represent complex technical subject matter into customer consumable product and feature offerings

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or related field

Desired Experience

  • Demonstrated ability of having conceived and successfully brought a Platform to market

  • 4+ years of product management experience in a SaaS / cloud company, ideally one leveraging public cloud

  • Knowledge of Agile development techniques and experience as a product owner in a SCRUM environment

  • Knowledge of first party and public cloud infrastructure and services

  • Experience working with internal and external infrastructure tooling and related products or services

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Technology or related field
