About the team

The Distributed Hosting Engineering organization is seeking a candidate that is customer-focused and passionate about technology and transforming our server hosting platform into a hybrid-cloud model.

What you’ll do

This product is critical to the success of our internal application development teams by providing a service that will enable our developers to programmatically deploy workloads that adhere to U.S. Bank best practices. With our continued digital transformation, we are seeing changes in customer needs which necessitates a Product Manager that understands the intersection between on-premises and cloud hosting. This position will be responsible for market research, developing and updating the platform roadmap and strategy, understanding customer satisfaction, process engineering, and interacting with cross-dependent teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Champion the hybrid-cloud vision while focusing on customer needs

  • Set priorities for the scrum team and manage backlogs

  • Partner with other product teams to collaborate on solutions and understand dependencies

  • Maintain agile artifacts for quarterly product planning

  • Create product roadmaps and process maps

  • Identify impacted groups and follow-up to ensure alignment

  • Provide demos as needed and get sign off on functionality from key stakeholders

  • Help develop and send communications as needed for users impacted by new or updated services

  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Hybrid Cloud experience including Azure, AWS, and VMware

  • Background in Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and vCloud/vRealize

  • Experience successfully managing products or product teams

  • Experience with Cloud, Compute, Storage, and Network infrastructure, engineering, and analytics

  • Technical mindset -- a passion for using technology to solve problems of massive scale -- and strong interest in Public and Private cloud architectures

  • A sustained track record of making significant, self-directed contributions to large scale and impactful projects

  • Comfortable achieving solution through creative thinking and multiple iterations

  • Excellent customer service, communication and presentation skills with a variety of audiences

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $120,870.00 - $142,200.00 - $156,420.00
