Amazon Senior Product Manager, Amazon Inbound Transportation, Global Logistics in Boston, Massachusetts

Description

Amazon Inbound Transportation, part of Global Logistics, is at the forefront of managing the journey of billions of units sold in the Amazon store every year. Our logistics network plays a pivotal role in Amazon's success, setting the standard in the eCommerce industry. Items sourced from both vendors and sellers, with vendors being companies selling products to Amazon at wholesale prices, and sellers being individuals or businesses selling products directly to customers through the Amazon marketplace, flow through our network. To cater specifically to sellers, Amazon developed a managed transportation program, which oversees freight transportation within the USA, ensuring sellers benefit from competitive rates, seamless experiences, and expedited inbound speed. By enhancing visibility and enabling faster selection availability, the program adds significant value to Amazon's operations.

The Inbound Transportation BizOpz team is currently seeking a driven Product Manager to oversee the revenue structure of the transportation program. We seek a candidate capable of taking a holistic approach to managing our space: diagnosing various growth levers, building compelling business cases through data analysis and industry benchmarking, and creatively prioritizing and executing initiatives with accountability. Our team is comprised of builders, with an in-house tech department dedicated to prototyping and scaling our ideas. We're in search of an entrepreneurial individual who thrives on discovering innovative avenues for business growth in the dynamic realm of global logistics. This role requires envisioning a comprehensive product strategy while delivering tangible results incrementally. Success hinges on a relentless focus on delivery, making this opportunity ideal for those who excel in entrepreneurial environments and thrive amidst ambiguity and competing priorities.
