About the role:

The Senior Marketing Manager is a great opportunity to shape and enhance Takeda's digital strategy across the IG portfolio.

You will work in a dynamic, patient-focused, fast-paced matrix environment with both internal and external partners. To be successful in this role, you have strong leadership, communication, coordination, learning agility, analytical, organizational, and team management skills. Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and rare disease environments.preferred. Appreciation for detail and the ability to execute strategies under tight timelines are other important skills. You will report directly to the Customer Engagement Lead.

How you will contribute:

  • As a Senior Manager, Digital and Reimbursement marketing, you will drive the IG portfolio through management of branded and unbranded initiatives to support demonstrating payer coverage, reimbursement educational materials, patient services offerings, and digital materials for non-prescribing stakeholders.

  • The Senior Manager, Digital and Reimbursement Marketing, will work cross-functionally across the Brand marketing teams, Reimbursement, Brand Teams, and Field Sales to develop and execute programs and collateral that communicates the value proposition of the brands to organized customers.

  • Facilitate appropriate promotion of the brands and services with organized customers

  • Manage PRT initiatives (Materials, re-Approvals, & Updates to Existing Resources)

  • Lead regular analyses of ongoing programs and tactics to identify needs for adjustment or change and to anticipate market changes relevant to focus areas

  • Engage and develop relationships with external access/reimbursement experts within the market to gain insights to inform the brand and ensure infusion of innovation and new thinking

  • Manage relationship with creative agencies and help develop briefs and execution for relevant areas of focus

  • Work and collaborate with internal partners to ensure understanding of the strategy and continue progress within the commercial approach to customers

  • Manage Advertising & Promotions (A&P) expense targets which may include budget management for the function including: budget phasing, tracking and ongoing oversight

  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional partners such as managed markets, medical, regulatory, legal, sales, sales training, patient services and business insights to launch and pull-through marketing initiatives

  • Work cross functionally to better understand market trends that affect reimbursement and access trends

  • Partner with patient services organizations to help facilitate understanding of insights for non-prescribing stakeholders within the IG space

  • Partner with sales and training to develop and execute customer content for national and regional sales meetings and support training

  • Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold the Takeda values

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years in marketing with experience in digital, or related commercial function. Agency experience and/or pharmaceutical/healthcare experience a plus.

  • Excellent Project Management skills

  • Experience with digital marketing technology platforms (CRM/database marketing, social media, website analytics, digital media)

  • Demonstrated ability to drive and manage Promotional and Regulatory meetings

  • Experience in marketing strategy and tactic design to communicate ideas to internal partners and external agencies; communicate (verbally/written) clearly and succinctly

  • Leverage data and analytics to distill insights and lead data-based decision-making

  • Must take accountability for individual work with the ability to influence others to implement change

Preferred

  • MBA or equivalent Master's degree

  • Experience in marketing positions at a commercial pharmaceutical organization or marketing agency

  • Rare/Orphan disease space knowledge

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 20% travel
