How you will make an impact:

This Sr Market Development position for the ImmunoDiagnostics division (IDD) reports to the IDD Market Development Director. The role collaborates closely with Commercial teams and Center of Excellence functional areas to drive Market Development and penetration through the following strategies:

  • Assesses, validates, and proposes solutions to remove market development barriers for the business in current addressed and non-addressed market segments, by using market development tools (opportunity assessment, workshops, data collection)

  • Identifies and runs key short-term and long-term strategic initiatives to improve business performance and competitive strategic positioning, expanding access to market segments and driving segment share

  • Leads Market Development projects, closely collaborates with the in-country Commercial, Marketing, Scientific- and Medical Affairs, HEOR and Government Relations teams.

What you will do:

Responsible for executing the Market Development strategy and delivering on key initiatives for the IDD Portfolio in Western Europe, in collaboration with Regional Marketing, HEOR, Scientific & Medical Affairs and Commercial among other division functions.

  • Evaluation of the impact of healthcare policy and reform decisions on markets to identify value-adding opportunities. Assesses barriers to access for Allergy and Autoimmunity patients

  • Provides support for Regional Commercial Leaders in building Country Growth Plans (CGPs) to accelerate patient demand and access to testing.

  • Partners with Scientific and Medical Affairs to map the patient care pathways and identify opportunities to increase access and to make the pathway more efficient

  • Communicates strategic analyses and recommendations based on information including but not limited to Market Intelligence, Pricing, Policy and reimbursements, Medical affairs in order to remove barriers to entry for the business

  • Drives Clinical & Economic Value leveraging internal and external sources and studies with support and teamwork with the Scientific and Medical Affairs team

  • Leads Market Development projects, closely collaborating with the in-country Commercial, Marketing, Scientific and Medical affairs and Government relations teams

  • Analyses the patient testing continuum in order to provide strategic insights on the needs related to our customers and in collaboration with Commercial and Marketing teams. Creates actionable plans to address barriers to entry and increase segment share

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Commercial, Commercial Operations, analytical teams, R&D and Scientific and Medical Affairs to deliver consistent messaging across the Commercial organization and customer base.

  • Leads Partnership Project Management through selected platform initiatives and channels, development and analysis of new channel research projects, develops and monitors key performance indicators to track program effectiveness via sustainable sales growth

  • Contributes to the Regional Strategic Plan, Regional Annual Operating Plan and business reviews with conclusions based on the impact of funding, economic data, competitive analysis and other primary/secondary information sources

How you will get here:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably Healthcare-related

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years Market Development experience in barrier assessment and removal

  • Proven experience of Diagnostics business and market

  • 5+ Product Marketing experience within medical device, Diagnostics or Healthcare industry

  • Up to 3-year experience in driving market access & development

  • Any previous Sales experience in medical device, Diagnostics or Healthcare industry

Knowledge, Skills, Assessment:

  • Position may require Covid-19 vaccination and/or routing testing, per client discretion

  • Fluent in English, any other major European language a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Strong market development and project management skills

  • Good time management & priority setting

  • Knowledge and relevant international working experience

  • Experience with multi-country cross functional collaboration

Travel Required

  • Willingness to travel up to 25-50% of working time based on need.
