How you make an impact!

This is a team leadership role with the Environmental & Process Management business within the Chemical Analysis Division, supervising a team of product managers across multiple geographies.

What you will do

Portfolio Optimization

  • Analyze profitability and optimize across the business’ total product portfolio, including long-tail analysis and product rationalization

  • Coordinate pricing plans and implementation

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Drive the development of product policies and strategies and coordinate related work processes

  • Own the marketing side of stage-gate development processes, from Strategic Marketing handoff through commercialization and ramp up

  • Implement end-of-life strategies and policies

Cross Functional Product Leadership

  • Work with key functions to integrate inputs from Marketing, R&D, and Operations into product strategy formulation and implementation

  • Lead the development of customer-based segmentation and align treatment strategies across business policies and functions

Training & Coaching

  • Coach, mentor, and develop talent in the best methodologies for product management

  • Embrace our culture of continuous improvement through our PPI (Practical Process Improvement)

How will you get here?


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent

  • MBA or other graduate degree preferred

  • STEM background preferred


  • 8+ years’ work experience

  • Product development and/or research experience utilizing stage-gate processes

  • Financial analysis skills, particularly the ability to identify key assumptions and build financial models for uncertain new business opportunities

  • Worked in global, highly matrixed, multicultural organization

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proven track record of leading through influence, breaking down organizational boundaries, and working across a matrix organization

  • Ability to understand and interpret customer needs

  • Self-starter and pro-active

  • Strong influence management skill

  • Detail and process oriented
