As a Senior Manager, Pharmacy UX Strategy & Design at CVS Health you will be part of a growing team of digital innovators and user experience professionals that want to make an impact and help people manage their health by designing experiences that meet user goals and exceed expectations. This role supports one or more of the following businesses: CVS Pharmacy®, CVS Caremark®, CVS Specialty™, MinuteClinic®, Omnicare®.
Design Leadership Responsibilities:
As a design leader, you’ll be responsible for working with your product, technology, and marketing peers while supporting the UX designers reporting to you to:
Collaborate across projects to ensure shared understanding of business and user goals, roadmap alignment, and project execution.
Conceptualize, design and define breakthrough customer experiences, drawing inspiration from research, user goals, and the world around you
Partner with research, optimization, and analytics teams to inform and validate designs
Gain stakeholder support for designs by clearly communicating design vision and rationale
Translate complex cognitive challenges into elegant user experiences delivered across multiple channels (web, phone, in store).
Collaborate with other UX managers and UX director on UX strategy and portfolio alignment
Hire and retain contract and full time UX designers
Mentor and coach staff
Establish annual goals and provide ongoing performance feedback to full time staff
Work with UX producers to ensure designers meet their commitments (including time, quality, and adhering to CVS values)
Provide resourcing estimates on projects
Minimum of 10 years experience in UX design
5+ years of experience in team building and leadership involving direct, indirect, and non reports with proven ability to work in a matrix team environment and demonstrate thought leadership and ability to influence where no direct line of control exists
5+ years of experience partnering with multiple groups (IT, Product Management, Business Analysts) to define and execute on a roadmap
Experience in medical or other highly regulated fields,
Experience with agile in an enterprise setting
Ability to collaborate with designers, strategists, managers, and technologists.
Ability to conceptualize, design and deliver superior customer experiences.
Ability to communicate user needs and demonstrate how proposed designs solve those to internal team and other stakeholders.
Ability to dive into projects at any level of definition with creativity and drive.
Deep knowledge of full user experience design process and ability to contribute at any level.
Hands on experience with wire framing and prototyping tools
Bachelor's Degree in a design related field preferred
