Within our Digital Personalization team, we are building and implementing leading-edge capabilities to develop real-time, omni-channel decisioning leveraging big-data technologies, advanced machine learning (AI) tools, and algorithms fueled by 360 customer data. These cloud-based platforms are being built using best-of-breed technology partner components by lean, agile teams. The Senior Manager of Personalization’s core responsibility is to drive new product capabilities from concept to successful delivery and adoption. This includes:
Translate business needs into innovative solutions - Work closely with our ExtraCare business team and other key business partners to create a product vision, understand and help identify business value, understand required use cases and capabilities, and translate these into product requirements. Product managers play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders.
Create a market-leading customer experience - Drive the definition, development and deployment of best-in-class capabilities that substantially enhance the consumer experience and address CVS’ strategic and financial objectives (including CRM and other personalization platforms)
Collaborate with technical teams to drive execution – Partner with project teams, vendors, development, analytics, systems specialists and other technical resources in this hands-on role driving products from inception to implementation
Communicate the vision - This role will have high level exposure and require superior communication and presentation skills to deliver insights to stakeholders and team members, including executives.
Help drive our personalization strategy - Conduct product and competitive research to help shape long and short term strategy while providing quick and clear value add to the business.
8-10 years of experience in strategy/management consulting or product development in a digital setting (ideally using agile development methods to create/implement CRM, ESP, marketing cloud, or other personalization technology)
Strategy consulting, internal strategy or business planning experience
Ability to problem solve within a deadline-driven work environment where attention to detail and the ability to multitask are critical
Quantitative skills including the ability to link product design and features to strategic objectives while using hard data and metrics to substantiate assumptions and recommendations
Technical savvy with a focus on continually improving customer experience and proven ability to effectively manage and adapt to evolving priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives and ability to creatively solve unstructured business challenges.
Strong business acumen, business knowledge and operational mindset.
Exceptional people leadership skills, strong work ethic, dedication, and desire to succeed, in addition to strong initiative and resourcefulness
