Wayfair Senior Manager, EU Partner Operations in Boston, Massachusetts

<h2><strong>Senior Manager, EU Partner Operations</strong></h2>

<p>As part of our ambitious expansion plans, we are seeking a Senior Manager to support the growing needs of our Partner Operations Growth team. This team provides a world-class service to the Wayfair’s supplier partners as they expand across Wayfair’s geographies. We do this through strategic account management and a structured sales environment. We create specific solutions for our supplier portfolio with the goal of launching and scaling their business in new Wayfair geographies. <h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>

<p>Own the full commercial value chain of the Launch program for one or more categories; this includes business development (lead identification, proposal writing, negotiation &amp; selling) and account management (driving sales performance, leading replenishment process)</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Lead an assigned portfolio of key strategic suppliers, contributing to the goal of driving Wayfair EU expansion and CastleGate adoption by identifying and removing operational barriers and generally co-manage an operational work plan for each supplier with our account management team</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Build and grow existing relationships through continuous analysis of performance and identifying new opportunities for expansion</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Work based in Boston, with travel to the regional offices and tradeshows to visit key suppliers and build new supplier relationships (4-8 times per year)</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Maintain industry expertise; keep abreast of trends and new product ideas</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Recognize, document, and share trends in supplier inquiries and challenges with senior team members</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Lead improvement of tools and processes which make our team and suppliers more efficient and effective</p>

</li>

</ul>

<h3><strong>What You’ll Need</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>

<p>MBA or similar qualification from top tier school, 7-9+ years of professional experience in partnerships, management consulting, sales or account management</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Successful entrepreneurship experience, having built similar or related product/service offerings, especially in the logistics space</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Innovative leadership style, looking for an opportunity to lead product category verticals strategy and execution</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Strong analytical experience and ability to operate with large data sets to identify trends and actionable takeaways</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Detail-oriented and has strong client or customer management experience</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to speak to business owners and senior supplier executives at eye level</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Demonstrated senior presence, recognized as an effective manager - experience managing others, preferred</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Experience in e-commerce, retail, supply chain, or logistics, a plus</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Chinese language skills, a plus</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Ability to hit the ground running – a confident, entrepreneurial self-starter</p>
