We are seeking a data-driven, creative, and proven Senior Manager of Customer Marketing to join our Demand Generation group to help us increase cross-sell and upsell opportunities within our customer base as well as improve our retention rates. The organic growth of our existing customer base is a key component of our 2018 projections so this role will be critical to our success.

In this high-profile position, you will be responsible for the end-to-end strategy and execution of our customer marketing campaigns. We’re seeking an experienced self-starter who can build our Customer Marketing program from the ground up.

  • Collaborate across Marketing and Client Services teams – especially with Product Marketing, Customer Advocacy, and Account Management - to create engaging campaigns that help drive renewals, referrals, cross-sell and upsell opportunities within Crimson’s existing customer base.

  • Optimize the customer experience with our brand & platform by:

  • Executing educational campaigns designed to highlight best practices & helpful tips.

  • Evangelizing success stories to encourage expanded platform use into adjacent use cases.

  • Raising awareness regarding relevant product enhancements.

  • Running promotions

  • Encouraging and soliciting feedback, reviews, & input

  • Design, develop, execute, & measure creative database-driven communications, such as newsletters, surveys, promotions, campaign emails, nurture streams, etc, as well as in-person/online programs, including user groups, awards events, direct mail, webinars, etc.

  • Work with the Customer Advocacy team to identify and build relationships with key customers that can act as Crimson advocates through case studies, speaking engagements, references, etc.

  • Own third-party review channels like G2 Crowd, Influitive, etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree. Marketing concentration preferred, but not required.

  • 5+ years of experience building customer marketing programs for a SaaS software company; 7+ years of overall work experience.

  • Exceptional writing, project management, and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices.

  • Experience using the latest digital marketing automation tools. Preference for Marketo and Salesforce.com.

  • Prior experience collaborating with Customer Success and Account Management teams is preferred.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders across functional areas.

  • Enjoys operating in a highly entrepreneurial, rapidly changing environment.
