We’re looking for a Senior Manager to lead our global Customer Briefing Program at Autodesk. The Program helps to accelerate the sales cycle, strengthen customer relationships and discover new opportunities.
In this role, you’ll report to the Director of Brand Experiences within the Brand & Creative organization. You’ll lead a team of professional Briefing Managers and Specialists and collaborate with the Autodesk Gallery, Technology Center and workplace teams to deliver world class experiences that strengthen relationships with Autodesk. By collaborating with marketing, customer success and sales, you’ll also tailor content to customer’s objectives, equipping teams with actionable insights, leading to real results.

You’ll lead a stellar team of Briefing Managers and Specialists who are known for going above and beyond. Our offerings include virtual, hybrid and in-person meetings. Our in-person locations include San Francisco, Boston and Birmingham (UK) as well as integration into special events. This position will be located in either Boston or San Francisco.
You’ll be responsible for the evolution of the program by identifying new opportunities, developing new ways to scale and acting as an advocate with senior leadership. You’ll enhance the briefing experience through integrating our brand narrative, doing experience audits, and acting on feedback as well as proposing training for the team. You’ll ensure our content and strategy aligns with business needs and makes the greatest impact to both Autodesk’s and our customers’ business. You’ll also partner with key stakeholders across Worldwide Marketing, Customer Success, and Worldwide Sales to name a few.
Responsibilities
Develop overall executive briefing program strategy
Lead strategic planning and goal setting
Build and nurture relationships with key business stakeholders inside Customer Success, Worldwide Sales, Worldwide Marketing, Industry Strategy and Platform Technology
Align the program with business strategy and operational changes
Up-level the briefing experience for internal and external participants
Integrate the Autodesk brand through various touch points including narrative and experience
Optimize operations from request to management to reporting
Advocate for the value of the program to increase participation and/or investment
Develop dashboard and regular reporting to key stakeholders
Grow network of speakers and discussion leaders to support customer needs
Lead an experienced, passionate and customer-focused team
Consolidate briefing feedback and conclusions with post-briefing analysis of insights, follow up plans and opportunities for improvement
Partner with Autodesk Workplace, Technology Centers and Gallery team to deliver an exceptional experience
Minimum Qualifications
Leadership experience with a global program, preferably a Briefing Program
Ability to work effectively with and lead cross-functional teams
Proven track record and enthusiasm to deliver best-in-class executive and/or customer experiences
Ability to drive change/transform a program/experience
Experience managing a distributed team and keeping them aligned and engaged
Comfortable and effective communication with executives, stakeholders, VIP’s and support staff
Strong project, time and process management skills
Excellent communication skills – written, oral and presentations
Deep understanding of sales methodologies and stages
Familiarity with Salesforce.com and VisitOps highly desired
Experience in Technology Industry desirable
Knowledge of Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing and/or Media & Entertainment industries desired
Experience in the professional briefing industry and/or and active member of ABPM
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of relevant experience
BA/BS preferred or equivalent professional experience
Occasional travel

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $143,800 and $232,650. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
