GasBuddy is looking for a Senior Manager of Customer Relationship Management to lead the marketing of our multiple payment products across channels. The goal of this role is to grow and retain the number of consumers in the programs, ensuring both quantity and quality. You’ll work cross functionally to drive conversion, retention and, crucially, brand affinity. Passion both for the customer and diving into data are critical prerequisites.

You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of each payment product. You will activate consumers and drive key utilization behaviors; retain consumers month after month and mitigate churn; build “share of wallet” among active consumers, and to win back consumers that have lapsed in terms of program utilization.You will partner with creative services, engineering, editorial, and across other departments to assure quality and excellence across all channels, including marketing automation and ad hoc campaigns.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive customer segmentation and execute unique and impactful lifecycle campaigns driving at program utilization metrics

  • Design and deploy communications across email and mobile messaging to drive key outcomes

  • Manage the program communication calendar, including promotional strategy

  • Develop a robust plan for testing, analyzing and managing performance to make sure we’re always improving

  • Drive utilization of payment products by eliciting key early behaviors through consumer communications such as onboarding, user education and more

  • Increase the recency of user interactions across the product portfolio. Reduce churn and actively move users further down the path to becoming loyal

  • Deploy strategies to reactivate those consumers that have “lapsed” across the payment portfolio

  • Create comprehensive reporting for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly review which educates key stakeholders on exactly what is happening and why it is happening

What We Seek:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology related area is required

  • 5+ years of digital marketing work focused on CRM programs. Proven track record in email marketing using email automation software or integrated marketing software

  • Experience developing customer segmentation, launching campaigns and measuring effectiveness

  • Strong strategic thinking with an eagerness to execute the plan and measure results. You want to roll up your sleeves and dive into program performance with an eye toward continually optimizing

  • An entrepreneurial spirit—you quickly pick up new projects and run with them, embracing ambiguity along the way

  • Strong analytical skills and passion for using data to identify optimizations and future opportunities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Interfacing with external clients a plus

  • Great teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional departments without direct authority

  • Fluent in Enterprise level CRM tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Urban Airship

  • Experience with enterprise level analytic solutions such as DOMO or similar
