It's your role, here's the part you can play:
The position will work across multi-disciplinary project teams providing analytical support to ongoing consulting engagements. The Candidate will be expected to perform research and analysis on power and fuel markets utilizing internal models and contribute to the development of client deliverables.
Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of integrated resource planning, decarbonization strategies, grid modernization, and business transformation
Contribute to the growth strategy for the Strategy & Planning which includes digital grid modernization, power, fuel and environmental markets forecasting, integrated resource planning, regulatory practices, and potential fundamental and regulatory changes to these markets. The responsibilities will include contributing to the evolution of offerings to keep them best in class as well as the development and introduction of new consulting products.
Contribute to the business development and sales process, including identification and pursuit of new leads from both new and existing clients.
Exercise thought leadership to guide the research and development of emerging issues and solutions impacting financial returns for client energy investments. Publish thought leadership pieces.
Ensure that quality control systems and practices are implemented.
Mentor and train staff members to assist with strategy-focused engagements
Be part of our team, here's what's needed:
Minimum BA/BS in electrical engineering, economics, finance or related field; advanced degree preferred.
At least 4 years of relevant power market analysis experience in consulting or industry
Ability to work independently, as well as in cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment.
Ability to provide technical oversight for a wide range of economic and statistical analyses in the energy field.
Strong consulting skills, including solid written, oral, analytical, and presentation skills required.
