Kforce Senior Director Product Management in Boston, Massachusetts

Kforce is working with a Global based Research Firm (a unique industry) located in New York and Boston area that is searching for a Senior Director Product Management. In this role, you are required to come onsite as needed, ideally in a hybrid capacity. Our Engineering team thrives on problem solving and creating happier users. As we work to achieve its mission of making individuals, businesses, and the world smarter through personalized knowledge-sharing solutions, the engineering team is taking on challenges to improve our internal CRM system and create new products to optimize the seamless delivery of our services. Summary:The Senior Director Product Management continuously builds intimate institutional knowledge that spans all teams and functions within the company as well a deep understanding of the evolving competitive landscape. The Director oversees the Product Management team and works for the Chief Information Officer and with the VP of Engineering and Head of Design to build and prioritize a backlog of strategic and tactical software requirements for internal CRM and customer facing web applications. What You'll Do: * Oversee the operations of the Product Management team, consisting of Business Analysts and Product Managers/Associates, developing and executing a roadmap for core products * Guide the agile development processes including quarterly planning, metrics gathering, sprint planning, grooming and overall sprint deliverables * Owns all Product roll out planning and execution including training, written deliverables, virtual project demonstrations and in-person presentations * Lead meetings with multiple stakeholders to identify and prioritize software development and business process improvement initiatives * Vendor contract negotiations in conjunction with Finance and business teams * Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, visual mockups for stakeholder review * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or an MBA is a plus * 8 years of total work experience with 3-5 years in hands-on product strategy and management * Experience using metrics to surface investment areas for feature development, prioritization, and experience * Data-driven customer centric approach toward product development. Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others * Comfortable in the C suite, presenting and making the case for strategic positions and product decisions * Experience hiring, mentoring and developing teams of Product Managers and Business Analysts * Ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders, from a junior associate to a client to a strategic partner/vendor to a senior executive * A strong understanding of website usability, user experience, and a high level of empathy for internal and external product users * Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and have exceptional writing and communicating skills * Operates effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * An internal consultant mindset, with proven experience and mastery of this approach is essential * Working knowledge of Jira and Agile Methodology What We Have: * Competitive compensation * Free snacks and beverages * Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents * 401(k) match, life insurance, commuter benefits, corporate gym rates, paid time-off and parental leave plans * Friday happy hour and -Summer Fridays- * Year-round corporate athletic league * Casual work environment Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
