Intel Senior Director, Client Pricing Operations in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

As the Senior Director of Client Pricing Operations you will lead a creative, passionate, and high-achieving team of pricing professionals that role models Intel's cultural values. This team leads, influences, and collaborates with our customers and business unit partners to craft and optimize the financial return of one of Intel's most critical assets - the PC client business. The scope includes roadmap, segment, and customer pricing. This team delivers high stakes analytics to drive material pricing, segmentation, and product roadmap decisions and requires critical influence and stakeholder engagement to help shape the strategic direction for our PC client business.

As a leader and manager, you will ensure future success for Intel and our customers through setting team priorities, driving results across organizational boundaries, and ensuring a diverse and inclusive work environment, while overseeing the growth and development of your team members.

Specifically, you will:

  • Drive the development and execution of our global pricing strategy

  • Lead research and data analysis efforts to formulate and recommend data driven pricing models

  • Facilitate quarterly business reviews, pricing decision forums, negotiations, and process alignment

  • Spearhead collaborative efforts with the business unit, category management, sales and marketing teams to execute “4P” game plans, competitive assessments, and strategies to drive Intel’s financial and product objectives

  • Advise executive leadership on global pricing strategies and market trends

  • Develop and maintain an expansive network of stakeholders to solicit feedback and communicate pricing decisions and actions

  • Advance analytical models, scenario analysis, and business planning across highly dynamic and competitive PC market segments

  • Enhance price-feature-value analytics to set pricing strategies, influence product development, and inform marketing efforts and value-based selling for Intel's current and future products and solutions

  • Prioritize resources and deliverables across near, intermediate, and long-term objectives

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • An ability to manage a diverse team and delegate responsibilities to accomplish strategic objectives

  • An ability to build strong networks with executives and senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally

  • Knowledge of the PC market, Intel’s products, customers, and industry competitors

  • Understanding of pricing strategies and industry practices

  • Strong and effective communication skills across a variety of media

  • Understanding of financial analytics as it relates to managing a PnL

  • An ability to think strategically, plan for the future, and prepare for challenges

  • An ability to manage competing priorities, solve complex problems, and set strategic directions

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience

  • Cross functional business acumen including financial analytics (net present value, profit and loss)

  • Prior experience managing and leading teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA degree, or similar Master’s degree in business or operations

  • Experience in pricing and business operations

  • Demonstrated experience leading transformations and pathfinding new methods

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $177,480.00-$283,920.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
