Plymouth Rock Assurance Senior Digital Marketing Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts

Plymouth Rock Assurance has recently launched a revolutionary way to buy home insurance. Our innovative product solution allows customers and partners to obtain a home insurance quote in just seconds.

We’re seeking a solid Digital Marketing Analyst to lead the analysis of our direct-to-consumer and partnership channels, quote and sales production, product mix, marketing channel performance, and customer lifetime value. In this newly established position, you will be responsible for creating the analysis framework, working cross-functionally to align metrics and report findings on a regular basis.


  • Cross-platform expertise (e.g., Google, Bing, FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, Programmatic)

  • Experience with relational database tools and concepts

  • Excellent technical skills (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint proficiency in data visualization/BI tools such as Tableau)

  • Experience with media planning and budgeting

  • 5+ years of experience in a large media agency (P&C insurance experience a bonus)


  • Experience with SAS and regression analysis

  • Knowledge of mainstream marketing analytics tools (e.g., Heap Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

  • Property and Casualty Insurance experience

  • Knowledge of SEO and tagging

  • Experience handling large media budgets

  • Drive data-oriented insights and learnings to inform marketing decisions, including quantifying segment opportunity size for major initiatives and strategies.

  • Synthesize raw data and marketing results into easy-to-understand findings, including preparation of executive summaries and business reviews.

  • Leverage data mining techniques to analyze sales and identify actionable insights and trends.

  • Develop sales and KPI forecast for a broad range of marketing campaigns and programs, and periodic reporting on performance against the forecast.

  • Develop digital marketing and ecommerce site performance dashboards informed by granular analytics.

  • Develop a framework to measure and manage the lifetime profitability of business written in the direct-to-consumer and partner channels.

  • Develop strategy and roadmaps for digital channels.

  • Help develop digital A/B marketing test models. Measure, optimize and report outcomes of tests.

  • Create monthly and quarterly marketing reports and analysis, as well as ad hoc analyses.

  • Supports data requests made by other departments related to marketing and sales.

  • Partner with Digital Marketing Lead to manage significant digital channels and capabilities. May include channels such as company internal and external websites, social media, Online Quoting Application, search engines, and mobile app stores.

  • Collaborate with other marketing team members and across lines of business to achieve business objectives.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendor partners.

  • Build and manage process improvements to increase efficiency in campaign deployment, tracking, reporting and conversion.

  • Work directly with Legal department to ensure compliance and accuracy.
