To support our focus on delivering a World Class customer experience, CSBO Operations Engineering is hiring a Senior Business Program Manager to lead transformational initiatives that are core to underwriting our customers’ experience. You will engage with Product Management Leaders, Planners, Experience Designers, along with headquarters and Microsoft partners to drive innovation and assertively land value across our solution portfolio.

This is a leadership position with direct accountability for our organization’s key objectives and results. The ideal candidate is a great collaborator who can strike a good balance between having a vision for our customers’ experience and understanding what it takes to implement relevant and effective solutions. You’re able to develop strong partnerships across organizations, aligning goals, driving direct and indirect results with significant impact. You are naturally curious and passionate about customer needs, are analytical and outcomes-driven, and can work effectively in a globally distributed environment. You actively coach team members to become experts in their domains and effectively deliver on our promises to customers. You have experience and enjoy partnering with stakeholders across varying seniority levels. You exhibit commitment and accountability to independently lead initiatives that contribute to the strategic objectives of our organization. You understand Product Management as a profession and the tools and methods that enable great Product Managers. Having prior experience in Microsoft Support and/or Consulting Services is a significant plus.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience, preferably in business, engineering, operations, or finance

• 8+ years of experience in product or program management and/or process design in operations, sales, consulting or other business functions

• 3+ years in sales or delivery with enterprise customers

• Passion and track record for delivering great customer experiences

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with successful experience managing executive stakeholders

• Passionate about achieving results through influencing others, making timely decisions while considering needed trade-offs, negotiating conflicts, as needed

• Experience using data and metrics to support assumptions and develop convincing business cases; ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends

• Competency with all phases of project management, including gathering requirements, issue and risk identification and management, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communication of overall project status; able to keep multiple projects going across a variety of phases

• Knowledge across multiple functional areas for effective cross-team collaboration, such as product management, engineering, UI, UX, consulting, sales, customer support, finance, or marketing

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $125,000 and $187,700.

At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
