Wayfair Senior Analyst, Monetization Channel Growth in Boston, Massachusetts

<p><strong>About The Team</strong></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Wayfair is looking for analytical, intellectually curious, and self-motivated individuals to help drive strategic initiatives to address hundreds of millions of dollars of profit opportunity in the returns space. In this role, you would be involved in the development and growth of resale channels for returned product (e.g., Open Box) - from ideation through execution, you would be part of a cross-functional team that includes Marketing, Pricing, Operations, Product, and Engineering.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Wayfair is building industry-shaping capabilities to fuel growth and delight our customers; resale of returned product is a key element of the end-end customer experience. Customers don’t always love the product they receive, and our goal is to maximize resale outcomes through a number of existing and to-be-launched channels. The profit we drive enables us to reinvest into pricing and customer experience investments that fuel the company’s growth trajectory.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The ideal candidate brings an ownership mindset, structured and logical thinking, fluency in quantitative analysis,&nbsp; strong communication skills, and the ability to take a leadership role to influence multiple teams. <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>

<ul>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Own Open Box performance and KPIs, tracking and communicating out trends and looking for opportunities to grow the business in collaboration with marketing, pricing, and storefront stakeholders.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Solve problems critical to the long-term health of our business: identify trends, define the&nbsp; problem, structure analyses, distill insights into innovative recommendations, and&nbsp; communicate across our stakeholders&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Collaborate with senior leaders, technology teams, and field operations across Wayfair to continually identify opportunities, build sophisticated analytical models, and drive impact</span></li>

<p><strong>What You'll Need&nbsp;</strong></p>

<ul>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2-4 years of professional experience (experience in marketing, pricing, or customer experience analytics is a plus)</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bachelor’s degree required. A focus in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Physics, Engineering, or other concentrations with a quantitative focus preferred&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fluency in quantitative and analytical tools required -&nbsp; SQL, GBQ, Excel</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong entrepreneurial energy and ownership mindset</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proven record of taking on big challenges and delivering despite obstacles, limited resources, or landscape ambiguity</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Distinctive problem-solving skills and love for data analytics&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong oral and written communication skills&nbsp;</span></li>
