    Position:

As a Sales Planning and Go To Market Specialist, you will be a trusted partner to the Sales team by providing data-based insights into the current and forward-looking state of sales to drive strategic and tactical action to achieve business goals. Utilizing Anaplan, you will support and facilitate sales forecasting, and create and drive the business process for Go To Market and territory planning. Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted partner to Sales through data-based insights into the current and forward-looking state of sales to drive strategic & tactical action.

  • Prepare weekly reporting for ELT and SLT regarding state of sales, indicating risk or opportunity for growth using data from CRM, Spotfire, Excel and Anaplan

  • Support and Facilitate Sales Forecasting through Anaplan. Coordinate and consolidate weekly and monthly booking forecasts from 5 teams.

  • Create and drive business process for Go To Market and Territory planning using Anaplan. Create analysis using data driven insights from various tools to support LRP and Annual growth. Coordinate with Senior Sales and Business Unit leadership to model and set targets and coverage plans.

  • Report board bookings and coordinate monthly business close activities in coordination with Sales Finance and Contracting

    Requirements: List only the most important experience, skills, competencies, training, licenses, degrees – that would disqualify candidates if they do not meet all the listed requirements.

  • Experienced MS Tools including lookups

  • Experience participating in or coordinating sales planning, including forecasting and territory management.

  • Experience using Spotfire or other analytic tools to tell the data story. Basic understanding of tool functionality.

  • Experience performing data analysis and interpretation to drive strategic business decisions

  • 5 Years business experience in Finance, Sales or Operations. Experience working in complex data environment.

    Preferred Qualifications: List any additional preferred experience, skills, competencies, training, licenses or degrees – qualifications that are helpful to have but are not required and thus won’t disqualify candidates.

  • Proven ability to clearly communicate to senior leadership

  • Anaplan level 1 Certification and experience utilizing the system

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics a plus

    Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • General office demands

    Travel:

  • 0-10% for offsite client meetings, conferences, and training sessions.

New York and New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for New York City, NY and Westchester County, NY is $65,320 - $113,520. The salary range for Ithaca, NY is $56,800– $94,600. The salary range for Jersey City, NJ is $68,160 – $113,520.
