The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Team, part of the Industry Solutions Organization, is accountable for leveraging deep industry and technical expertise to enable global sales teams and partners to deliver relevant, customized industry solutions and services, built on Microsoft technology, to empower our customers to digitally transform their businesses. In this role, the Enablement Lead will support Manufacturing & Supply Chain thought leadership internally and externally by providing training and education specific to Microsoft’s differentiated approach and capabilities. This includes amplifying our customer wins to drive and ensure a consistent and accurate go-to-market with existing and recruit partners. This will be delivered by ensuring the correct messaging is available internally and externally. In addition the Enablement Lead will guide our engineering teams to address key needs, as identified by field teams, as part of the product roadmaps.

Responsibilities

This role requires someone who is highly motivated combining exceptional strategic thinking, superior executive communication skills, project management, quantitative skills, and excellent team member skills (down, across, and up.)

The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Enablement Lead will be responsible for ensuring a correct and consistent message is delivered to our field, customers and partners in collaboration and partnership with the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Strategy lead, Marketing and Readiness.

  • Create, manage and execute an enablement strategy tied the Manufacturing & Supply Chain strategy, scenario & solutions and WW sales enablement opportunities.

  • Work with the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Strategy leads as the SME for Industry Priority Scenarios (IPS), and Industry Marketing to operationalize the Manufacturing & Supply Chain IPS enablement across all regions / areas / countries.

  • Manage learning needs analysis & training projects, define deliverables and provide learning consulting services to stakeholders. Work with senior management to identify skills and knowledge gaps.

  • Design, co-design, or adapt training content for the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Industry.

  • Maintain a close relationship with WW Learning team to ensure tight integration with WW Learning curriculum.

  • Build strategic business partnerships with key stakeholders – RBLs and Manufacturing & Supply Chain EoU leadership, ATU, STU, CSU & OCP.

  • Act as single point of contact in Manufacturing & Supply Chain for all regional & global industry training needs identification and enablement initiatives.

  • Manage/coordinate the overall Industry Enablement activities calendar for the Manufacturing & Supply Chain industry globally and regionally as appropriate, including coordination of scheduling of learning programs for global teams and supports cascading these programs to regions / areas / countries.

  • Prioritizes key global and regional learning assets for delivery either in face-to-face local language workshops or for translation of the asset and delivery.

  • Tight coordination with Areas around local boot camps and learning initiatives to ensure consistent strategic direction, messaging and objectives.

  • Lead format and approach for Manufacturing & Supply Chainat key internal enablement events (conferences, road shows, etc.) including ownership & management of the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Industry Team’s all-up strategic plan for Microsoft Ready.

  • Conduct reporting to measure training compliance and effectiveness. Reports monthly on global results as well as region / area / country enablement activities.

  • Maintain close relation with other Global Industry Enablement and Field Enablement colleagues to keep up with global priorities, new initiatives, and approaches.

  • Strongly collaborate with Communications and Community manager to plug in enablement initiatives into all-up Communications/Communities global plan.

Qualifications

Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a combination of strategy, management consulting, technology, sales, sales excellence, field enablement/readiness & marketing roles.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Communications or related field required.

  • Ability to lead by influence and orchestrate at executive and field levels internally and externally, at corporate and area levels.

  • Master communicator with superb ability to translate technology solutions into business outcome driven sales tools.

  • Deep Manufacturing & Supply Chain expertise to enable translation of business requirements into field and customer messaging and readiness materials.

  • Understanding of / experience across the structures, processes, systems and tools that enable field readiness: field structure & functions, field orchestration, learning, marketing, sales excellence, business desk.

  • Ability to gather and act upon specific needs to support and scale our industry selling motion.

  • Knowledge of learning platforms and other methods of “one to many” mass communication tools (communities, mobile and web learning, instant messaging, etc.).

  • Skilled at prioritization, creating order and marshalling resources towards achieving a common goal.

  • Confidence under pressure especially within tight timelines.

  • Tireless advocate for the Manufacturing & Supply Chain industry within Microsoft.

  • Undaunted in the face of constant ambiguity with ability to "see through the noise" and create clarity for WW sales teams as it relates to priority solution selling tools.

  • Experienced in solution selling methodology.

  • A growth mindset with a pre-disposition to learning culture.
