As the Sales Enablement Director, you will enable the global sales organization with the knowledge, skills, tools, and processes to accelerate the sales velocity and productivity of our Sales organization. By effectively aligning people, processes, and priorities to build relevant learnings, content and programs, all sellers will be enabled to be a highly productive workforce, igniting a high performance culture. The sales enablement team drives revenue by delivering high quality onboarding programs, continually assessing skill and performance gaps, and ensures our sellers and leaders have required product, industry, skills, and on the job training. By proactively consulting with our sales leadership and enablement partners, and leveraging data and insights, we are able to deliver enablement that is relevant, measurable, and actionable.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the vision, strategy, development, and measurement of sales enablement programs to improve and optimize knowledge, behavior, and skills for high-performing sales teams
Partner with sales leadership and management to define enablement needs and priorities
Partner with sales operations in driving adoption and training of sales tools and best practices
Identify and partner with existing training, industry, value, and solution vendors to support enablement initiatives
Build a highly effective team motivated by your expertise with regard to sales enablement best practices
Maintain strong collaboration with Sales Leadership, Marketing and Product teams
Track and communicate progress of sales enablement initiatives and pacing to key performance metrics
Drive adoption and scale of sales productivity tools and identify opportunities to systematize best practices
Create and execute training programs to optimize sales productivity, and drive adoption of sales processes
Ensure that content, training and programs are instrumented so that we are making data-driven decisions and quantifying the impact of sales enablement
Communicate effectively to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and view sales programs as a multiplier
Drive continuous innovation and improvement
Key Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
15+ years of proven leadership experience supporting revenue generating teams
8+ years of experience establishing Sales Enablement functions in a highly cross-functional and global environment
Strong, detailed knowledge of sales roles, sales performance, and sales process
Proven track record in creating, delivering, and training successfully with measurable results in fast paced environments
Proven track record of working with and influencing sales executives and leaders
Strong ability to represent concepts, as well as summarize and communicate complex ideas with a strong sense of how sales and leaders think, operate and absorb training or concepts
Knowledge of leadership and coaching frameworks used by sales leaders to inspire their teams and improve performance
Experience in stakeholder management in a matrixed environment
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Excellent presentation and delivery skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a flair for storytelling
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong process and analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and create improvements
Reasonably expected salary range: $170,800.00 - $227,800.00
