Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Program/Portfolio Manager to work in the Retail Banking organization and interact with dynamic leaders. The candidate will be responsible for serving as the Point of Contact for large-scale cross-functional projects impacting Retail Banking. Initial responsibility will include establishment of new routines, reporting, and end-to-end coordination across all impacted teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical in this highly visible role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for programs/projects specific to corporate change initiatives that have impact on how the company does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function.

  • Project responsibility to oversee staff and budget.

  • Serves as primary contact to senior leaders for critical change initiatives.

  • Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources.

  • Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation.

  • Creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control.

  • Ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project roles.

  • Integrates knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and decisioning processes.

  • Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan.

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

  • Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of program management and/or service delivery experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to influence, negotiate, persuade and resolve conflict at all levels

  • Very strong Presentation skills and highly proficient in PowerPoint and Executive Presentation

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to perform well under pressure and deadlines

  • Demonstrate ability to drive execution of complex change requirements and accept accountability for tasks

  • Have strong planning and organizational skills and ability to balance a high volume of work under pressure, including the management of multiple programs

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, determined, and positive – especially under pressure

  • Critical thinker and risk-minded

  • Ability to navigate enterprise, research and resource information across the enterprise

  • Financial forecasting/budgeting

  • Excellent follow-through

  • Proficiency in various Project Management Tools and Microsoft Office products (i.e. Visio, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

New York City pay range:

$125,000 - $161,900 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
