Do you have experience owning and carrying out a large portfolio of renewal contracts in an assigned territory? Are you results driven? If so, this is the right fit for you! We have exciting opportunities for Renewal Managers / Senior Renewals Managers to join our innovative Renewals team at Salesforce!

In this role as Renewals Manager / Senior Renewals Manager, you will be responsible for crafting strategic partnerships with internal partners such as the Sales and Customer Success & Growth (CSG) organizations to secure every renewal. You will also drive team success by minimizing financial attrition, locking in the most favorable terms, identifying growth opportunities, and passing on findings/insights back to the business.


  • Develop and implement win/win negotiation strategies for small, medium, and large account contract renewals that increase contract value, while protecting and improving customer trust

  • Partner with Account Executives to fully understand and develop a clear renewal strategy for each customer based on data driven decisions

  • Own, drive, and lead the renewals process in collaboration with the account team to improve account growth opportunities

  • Collaborate with internal resources such as Competitive Intelligence, Pricing, Product Management, Customer Success, Account Executives, Legal, and Sales and Revenue Operations to develop comprehensive 'win' strategies

  • Identify customer requirements, uncover roadblocks, and demonstrate strong account management and commercial capabilities to drive renewals to timely closures

  • Accurately maintain and update a rolling 120 day forecast of renewals in your territory and ensure any uncovered risk is clearly communicated in order to develop resolution strategies

  • Follow and implement the best standard methodologies for all internal processes including, but not limited to, Opportunity Management, Data Quality and accuracy, Quotations and Forecasting

  • Embrace new initiatives and programs pro-actively and act as a subject matter professional/mentor to other members of the team

  • Achieve financial and strategic targets for minimizing attrition, positioning favorable terms and boosting incremental revenue via up-sells, cross-sells and add-ons

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5-7+ years proven ability in a Sales, Operations, or Account Management capacity

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong process and customer management skills, financial acuity, and adherence to policies

  • Ability to react and adapt to potential rapid shifts in priorities and organizational policies

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of product and platform features and capabilities;

  • Experience negotiating complex multi-year services contracts;

  • Experience with enterprise CRM or customer service applications, particularly

  • Ability to run transactions through different stages using technology

  • Willingness and desire to seek additional tasks or pilot projects that are useful to the department and/or organization
