Summary:

The Small Business Group (SBG) contributes directly to Facebook’s mission by connecting every small business in the world with their customers on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger, and then helping them grow through solutions like pages, advertising, messaging, commerce and many other tools. We succeed when we help our customers grow their business. The Small Business Group at Facebook is one of two sales channels responsible for Facebook’s multi-billion-dollar advertising business. Our Small Business Team helps more than 99% of Facebook’s 10 million plus advertisers, and our potential business is even larger with more than 200 million businesses using our free tools to connect with customers.The position will be directly responsible for developing and leading our Sales Development efforts, with a focus on building a consistently strong pipeline for our diverse range programs spanning across new business acquisition, onboarding and long term revenue. The role will involve producing qualified leads across both inbound and outbound channels whilst analyzing signals to guide SMB’s to helpful marketing resources based on their business needs. In addition to developing a high-performing operation via vendor partners, this position will be responsible for working with teams across Facebook to grow and optimize sales programs with a focus on improving experience for our clients. As our team evolves, the candidate should also be prepared to manage new and existing sales programs within the organization.Ideal candidates will combine an exceptional ability to drive results through extended teams and partnerships; a passion for delivering value to clients through rigorous planning and execution; a keen eye for identifying process and workflow opportunities; and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute. Required Skills:

Regional Sales Manager, Sales Development Responsibilities:

  1. Design, launch and lead regional sales development programs

  2. Build a consistently strong pipeline and produce qualified leads across inbound and outbound channels

  3. Comfortable with managing other sales programs as organization evolves

  4. Lead vendor partnerships to exceed operational and productivity goals

  5. Make data-informed decisions to drive performance, resource allocation and juggle competing priorities

  6. Partner with cross-functional teams to build and deliver the best in class solutions for small businesses

  7. Identify strategic opportunities to influence program strategy and design

  8. Be an expert and build meaningful insights to drive growth within the region

  9. Lead regional testing of new initiatives

  10. Work effectively in highly collaborative environment

  11. Identify opportunities to improve ad products and the customer experience and influence action

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and experience dealing with ambiguity

  2. 6+ years experience working with lead generation, sales, operations, digital marketing, advertising or technology

  3. Detail-oriented and organized skills

  4. BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

  5. Critical-thinking and problem-solving experience

  6. Experience building working relationships inside and outside of company

  7. Analytical thinker with knowledge in data concepts and principles

  8. Experience prioritizing and focusing on driving growth
