<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Wayfair Recruiting Events team (within Talent Acquisition) drives strategic event planning which leads to strong early candidate engagement and employer brand awareness.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Our team is charged with leveraging events to find, attract, and ultimately hire top talent into all levels and functions.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">As our growth continues to skyrocket, we are seeking an experienced, strategic, and analytical Recruiting Events Manager to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. You will partner cross-functionally with various internal teams, such as talent acquisition (both campus and experienced), business stakeholders, Culture &amp; Inclusion, Tech Enablement, Employer Branding, Corporate Communications, and Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders, to design, build, and execute strategic recruiting events. You will work collaboratively in an effort to drive adoption of best practices, coach and manage a high performing team, and continue to build efficiencies with an eye towards scale. <p style="text-align: left;"><strong>What You’ll Need:</strong></p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul style="text-align: left;">

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">5 years of prior event planning/execution experience (both hosting and attending with events hosted by external organizations) as well as program management experience</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2 years of people management or mentorship experience</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to handle internal client management across levels, work cross-functionally, provide strong customer consultative skills, and has an action-oriented mindset with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills (experience with proposal writing and process documentation)</span></li>


<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul style="text-align: left;">

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to be self-directed and autonomous with a high sense of urgency, while also effectively collaborating and working in a team environment</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong record of success in planning &amp; executing large-scale recruiting events</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong familiarity with a fast paced, data driven environment. Naturally inclined to use data and metrics to guide decision-making and proficiency with measuring ROI results&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Exceptional organizational skills with proven project/program management experience across various internal and external stakeholders that may have competing demands</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Talent acquisition experience or experience working closely with recruiters</span></li>


<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>What You’ll Do:&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Events</strong></p>

<ul style="text-align: left;">

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage &amp; facilitate recruiting events in person and virtually including large conferences/events, Wayfair hosted events, networking events, presentations, career fairs, and other recruiting events to strategically build a robust and representative pipeline</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Review event requests from across the business and leverage data to determine the potential ROI and prepare proposals. Partner with internal stakeholders to develop an event engagement strategy that is aligned to our anticipated hiring landscape, culture &amp; inclusion priorities, and brand.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop and execute events or engagement strategies including event/program strategy and planning, gaining stakeholder buy-in, messaging, developing content, logistics, speaker and volunteer prep, budgets, and other core elements to successfully meeting programmatic objectives</span></li>


<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Stakeholder management</strong></p>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build solid relationships with internal team members, vendors, and a wide range of stakeholders across Wayfair to manage expectations and ensure high quality program management</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Represent Wayfair’s inclusive culture by ensuring we are showcasing it at events and partner closely with Wayfair’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to participate in events that are representative of and important to their group</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to align event strategy with Wayfair’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">As a manager, accelerate the professional skill development and performance of employees ensuring real time coaching, leading performance and progression discussions, and promoting Wayfair’s robust growth culture</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work with employer branding to develop collateral we could use at events (virtual or in person) as well as graphics to promote on Wayfair’s social media. Work with corporate communications to promote our events or sponsorships on social and increase brand awareness.</span></li>


<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Data Driven</strong></p>

<ul style="text-align: left;">

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Track metrics and leverage data to drive overall recruiting efficiency and partner closely with recruiters to outline the best practices and process for leveraging leads from events, resumes, and post event follow up</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Serve as an expert in outreach needs for the team and organizations you partner with. Report out post event on results including detailed tracking and analysis.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400; text-align: left;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Increase the visibility of the recruiting events team and identify which recruiting events Wayfair should prioritize and work with the applicable recruiters and business stakeholders to maximize ROI and liaise with them</span></li>
