We are looking for a Director of Recruiting to oversee the Infrastructure Data Center pipelines in North America and the EMEA region. This role is responsible for delivering the backbone of Facebooks Infrastructure, family of apps and hardware. As the Recruiting Director for our Data Centers, you will conceptualize, drive, and execute the vision and strategies supporting our largest recruiting function in Infrastructure. You will lead and scale a distributed team of recruiting professionals which spans across multiple locations, as well as partner with global counter parts, cross functional partners & diversity channels to drive operational excellence and unparalleled results spanning multiple global regions. This role will require an individual who can apply operational and strategic depth at scale, as well as drive results leveraging data while driving accountability. This person will need to know how to manage, mentor, and guide a team of managers and leads, as well as course correct recruiters and/or sourcers through the entire recruiting life cycle while also working closely with our engineering and business leaders to drive world class recruiting practices and strategy.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead the recruiting strategy and execution for all areas of the Infrastructure Data Center business ensuring alignment to the hiring goal

  2. Stay on top of new trends in the industry and marketplace and maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends. Understand where and how to penetrate emerging markets in the talent space

  3. Be an evangelist for and lead the implementation of innovative global and regional recruiting programs and approaches around creating an amazing candidate experience, interviewer training, diversity hiring, efficient and effective interviewing process, creative sourcing strategies and more

  4. Set vision and inspire the team to achieve great results

  5. Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team

  6. Provide innovative, scalable solutions while collaborating with the business to drive our hiring to meet FB business objectives

  7. Partner with business stakeholders weekly and monthly on progress to goal, showing challenges, needs and ask from the business and providing and asking for resources on cross functional collaborations or “hacks” with our business owners

  8. Lead cross functional teams in developing and delivering quarterly business reviews (QBR's)

  9. Partner with Facebook executives to develop and execute on a hiring plan

  10. Lead by example through following, setting or sharing recruiting best practices

  11. Compile, analyze and capture insights from data to support business decisions as well a driving action and accountability for funnel activity

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of recruiting experience

  2. 4+ years experience managing a team of managers, recruiters and sourcers

  3. Experience managing organizations of 30+ reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Technical recruiting experience

  2. Experience managing technical recruiters/sourcers

  3. Experience managing pipelines and multiple levels of hire from early career professionals to senior engineering management

  4. Experience communicating and working with distributed and cross-functional teams in global locations
