We have a great opportunity for a Program Manager in our Global Talent Acquisition, Americas Go to Market team to help shape and drive how effectively and efficiently we operate. This role partners directly with the Americas (U.S., LATAM and Canada) Global Go to Market recruiting organization helping to hire world class talent for this critical function for Microsoft. Resource Management – Ensures appropriate alignment of resources to current hiring demand (including both full time Microsoft employees and external contingent staff). Operating in a highly matrixed and fluid environment, this role is critical to ensure that we have resources aligned to hire the right talent, in the right place, at the right time.

Consistent Delivery & Operational Excellence – Focused on providing AMAZING candidate and client experiences, this role is a subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition best practices, driving adherence and improvement of established processes and procedures related to day to day Recruiter and Talent Sourcer operations.

Data Analysis & Talent Market Insights – The incumbent will have the ability to systematically gather information from a variety of sources, analyze information, identify implications of data, draw conclusions, generate alternatives and solutions, and evaluate the consequences of choosing each alternative using quality. Uses relevant data and trends to provide insights as it relates to both internal resource alignment across key focus areas/priorities within Go to Market. In addition, the ability to develop and draw insights on external market conditions and the external talent market.

Change Agent – The ability to define and implement procedures and/or technologies to deal with changes in the environment. This may include adapting to change, controlling change, and/or affecting change.


The successful candidate will have the following profile:

  • Strong background with full life cycle recruiting with an emphasis on sourcing and search tools. Knowledge of and ability to use sourcing and search tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean search strings, Job Posting websites) to find and acquire talent.

  • Strong track record in deploying and operating complex processes and standard operating procedures for broad/diverse audiences

  • Exceptional communications and cross-group collaboration skills, including experience leading training in both small and large group environments

  • Experience with managing project delivery, including structured project management experience

  • Strong data evaluation skills, with ability to extract and interpret data.

  • Deep experience working with Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc)

  • Experience developing Power BI reports

  • Systems thinking, the ability to analyze and recognize how a system's parts interrelate and how sub-systems work overtime within the context of larger systems. This includes the ability to view systems with a broad perspective and identify overall structures, patterns, and cycles.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition (e.g., recruiting, talent sourcing), HR experience

  • 3+ years of experience working with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc)

  • 5+ years of experience working with ATS and/or CRM systems, to include reporting
