Job Description

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Title: Product Strategy/Technical Product Marketing, Oracle Marketing, B2B Portfolio (Eloqua Marketing Automation)

Reports to: Director, Outbound Product Management, Oracle Marketing, B2B

The Product Strategist for Oracle Marketing ’s B2B business leads product messaging, strategy and go to market activities that speak to the needs of marketing customers. The Oracle B2B marketing business is comprised of industry-leading solutions: Oracle Eloqua Marketing Automation, Oracle Commerce, Oracle Content Management, as well as several supporting offerings (AI/ML, SMS, events, etc.) The candidate will take a lead role representing Oracle Advertising and CX to internal (e.g., sales engineering, product marketing, corporate marketing, event and field marketing, sales, etc.) and external (e.g., analysts, influencers, customers/prospects, press, system integrators/agencies/ISVs, etc.) audiences. The candidate will build a strong working relationship with Product Development leadership for Oracle Marketing and with other Outbound Product Management leaders to ensure a unified Advertising and CX message and go to market.

Responsibilities:

Lead product strategy and go to market for Oracle’s B2B marketing portfolio

  • Partner with Product Development leadership to define product strategy and go to market.

  • Align multiple Oracle products into an overarching strategy and messaging framework that speaks to needs of enterprise marketing customers.

  • Be an expert on the overall marketspace ensuring Oracle maintains lead positioning versus key competitors.

  • Lead release management internal and external communications

  • Partner with key industry analysts to ensure they are current on Oracle’s differentiated offerings and lead analyst engagements for rankings, reports, strategy days, and inquiries.

Define and deliver content, enablement, and programs that ensure sales success

  • Develop and deliver solution and product enablement content, sales tools, and programs to sales and partners (SIs, agencies, ISVs, etc.).

  • Create compelling customer content focused on product strategy, value proposition, capabilities, and use cases to articulate the value that Oracle’s B2B marketing solutions can deliver.

  • Support sales and partners in customer engagements to highlight product strategy, roadmaps, etc.

Evangelize Oracle’s thought leadership, product strategies, and recommended best practices

  • As a key executive, represent Oracle Advertising and CX in high profile speaking engagements at events and webinars, press and analyst interactions and customer meetings.

  • Lead customer engagement activities and programs including customer advisory boards, webinars, Customer Visitor Center meetings, Oracle Topliners community discussions, etc.

  • Be a subject matter expert and thought leader on current B2B marketing trends, new technologies and best practices.

Requirements for this position include:

  • 15+ years progressively increasing product management (outbound), product strategy, product marketing, or solution engineering responsibility in a cloud enterprise software environment

  • Strong Marketing/SaaS cloud application product knowledge in B2B marketing automation and digital marketing solutions and deep understanding of market strategies and competitive landscape

  • Exceptional messaging skills in both written/oral/presentation communication skills

  • Ability to articulate products in terms of customer value and impact on their business, employees and customers

  • Ability to build relationships and influence outside of authority while leveraging Oracle expertise and resources.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Ability and passion to learn net technologies.

Education & Experience: MBA/Business, Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering degree or hands on experience in a management role in these disciplines.
