This role is 100% remote.


  • Reporting to a UX Design Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers & software engineers to promote the work of the Yammer team within Microsoft and among customers.

  • You’ll be given lots of freedom to explore visual concepts and drive the direction, style and tone of our videos.

  • You’ll assist with cutting and editing footage, along with creating animations that will champion the Yammer vision among customers, stakeholders and our own team members.

  • This person will drive design schedule, process, & communication for a wide range of motion design for both near and long-term product.


  • 3+ years experience working with product teams on motion work.

  • A portfolio with projects that showcase animation and motion, including work animating digital user interfaces for web and/or mobile products.

  • Experience collaborating and sharing assets with UI/UX Designers in Figma or a similar tool.

  • You are able to adapt to changing project goals and are comfortable with iteration.

  • You are organized, work well within timelines and are comfortable working with a small team with check-ins throughout the day.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and a willingness to brainstorm and share your opinions.

  • You have a strong internet connection and ability to upload and share large files on a regular basis.

  • Proficiency with common design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Cinema 4D, etc.).

  • Strong design sensibilities (typographic, grid, motion, and color theory skills) and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D animation and rendering.

  • Demonstrated illustration experience.

  • The ability to work independenly developing the style and tone of our approach to motion design.
