Validity Product Marketing Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Position OverviewAs a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in positioning, launching, and evangelizing the Validity products at a global level. You will have responsibility for product messaging, positioning, content and collateral strategy, pricing, product launches, as well as orchestrating and managing our go-to-market strategy. This position requires a diverse breadth and depth of marketing knowledge and technical knowledge. You will generate market insights that lead to increasing market share and sales velocity across a competitive landscape.

The Product Marketing Manager will have close interaction with product managers as well as sales enablement, business development, sales, brand, marketing, and training teams.

Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities

Market Analysis, Positioning & Messaging

? Define the market opportunity for products and bundles.

? Perform market validation and segmentation exercises.

? Continually monitor the pulse of the global market. Analyze competitors' products/activities, determine differentiation, and create competitive advantage.

? Define and execute the market development strategy to build new categories, foster brand association, and increase market awareness and education internationally.

? Drive product naming, pricing, and positioning through qualitative and quantitative research.

? Build positioning and messaging for owned products in concert with positioning and messaging for other lines of business.

? Collaborate across the wider marketing team on key messages for research and thought leadership, lead generation, customer acquisition, partner development, events, and more.

? Build content for relevant content for buyers to consume in a variety of formats, including web pages, video, online events, and industry conferences, in collaboration with available internal resources.

Product Strategy & Launch

? Develop vision for global product strategy, working with the product teams to create value propositions that address regional market needs, depending on business environment, competition, and target audience.

? Meet with prospects, partners, and clients regularly to validate product strategy direction and drive innovation.

? Work cross-functionally to build comprehensive go-to-market product/service plans.

? Manage messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy for acquisitions and additions to our product and bundle portfolio.

Sales & Marketing Support, Focus and Contribution

? Provide strategic guidance to the development of marketing programs, product-level selling presentations, collateral, and product content.

? Collaborate with sales enablement and business development functions on a well-defined sales enablement plan, including online tools and content requirements.

? Play a significant role in helping to achieve revenue, direct customer and channels bookings growth objectives & targets.

Experience/Skills

? 2+ years of B2B product marketing experience.

? Experience in the email industry preferred.

? Can-do attitude and ability to fearlessly take on any task.

? Proven marketing experience in creating and executing the following for B2B technology:

? Product launches

? Developing marketing strategies

? Positioning and messaging

? Worldwide go-to-market strategies

? Experienced in creating collateral, presentations, and sales tools.

? Excellent analytical and presentation skills including demonstration skills .

? Ability to handle many assignments simultaneously.

? Strong leadership, sales support, and communications skills.

? Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, develop effective relationships and interact with senior leadership.

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
