Product Marketing Manager - User Group Programs

Smartsheet is seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to assist in scaling and optimizing our user group program across the country and internationally to increase use and engagement with Smartsheet. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing, business development, or program management and be successful working cross functionally with internal teams and with customers.

This essential role is part of the Product Marketing team and will report directly to the Product Marketing Manager/user group program manager who oversees user groups within the Customer Connections team in Product Marketing.

This rolecan be based in our Bellevue, WA or Boston, MA Office.

You will:

  • Learn the intricacies of the user group program to plan and execute in-person and virtual user groups worldwide

  • Develop strong relationships with current Smartsheet customers and power users to identify hosts and presenters at user groups and to help drive opportunities to success

  • Work in close partnership with the program manager to develop strategy to support strategic and growth initiatives

  • Understand Smartsheet products including core and premium and how they are implemented in different verticals and functions

  • Create unique opportunities for users to connect with each other and learn more about Smartsheet

  • Problem-solving acumen to adjust to changes and shifts in program and strategy as needed

  • Work with internal teams for day-to-day operations including managing customer data, digital invite process, communications with Sales and Customer Success, and channel partners

  • Support other duties

You have:

  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in marketing or business development role or program management role

  • Proven success building and managing new high profile programs

  • Passion for rolling up sleeves and jumping in where needed

  • Proven ability to work effectively across marketing and sales organization

  • Passion for working with emerging cloud technologies

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth software company where change is a constant

  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience linking programs to revenue opportunities

  • Self-starter, ability to lead innovative, entrepreneurial efforts and drive for excellence

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency and execute detailed action plans

  • Able to function independently, as well as collaboratively with Smartsheet team members

  • Ability to travel as health conditions allow

  • Spanish or French-speaking a plus
