Summary:

At Facebook, we make advertising meaningful for everyone: for people, and for the 7 million businesses who use our platform to connect with people across the Facebook family of apps. To empower the businesses who use our platform, we build interface solutions to enable them to reach their customers and grow their businesses. We're looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about technology, innovation and advertising to join our Product Marketing team. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving market requirements for the unique needs of retailers and brands to strengthen their partnerships through Facebook’s Collaborative Ads products. Must have a proven track record demonstrating strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision making under uncertainty. Ideally this candidate will have prior experience in the advertising space with brand marketers. He or she must thrive with cross-functional teams and exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the requirements of the market internally with Product Management and Engineering

  2. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader Facebook ecosystem to develop strategic product direction and positioning

  3. Lead market segmentation and opportunity assessment efforts to prioritize product opportunities for helping Facebook sales and marketing work more efficiently and effectively to serve client needs

  4. Set clear strategy and vision that addresses the needs of retailers and brands through Collaborative Ads suite of solutions

  5. Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to drive successful product beta programs and launches

  6. Partner effectively with Product Management and all sales channels to create world-class product marketing communications, including all sales-facing materials and training

  7. Drive product adoption and usage by developing and managing detailed, long-term adoption plans

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. 3+ years professional experience in technology, strategic marketing, product management, management consulting, brand management

  3. Experience in the advertising space ideally with the needs of shopper marketers, particularly those in Retail, Ecommerce, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Consumer Electronics

  4. Analytical, data driven decision-maker with the experience using deductive reasoning to simplify and communicate complex issues

  5. Demonstrated interpersonal skills

  6. Demonstrated capacity to communicate complex, large-scale concepts clearly through effective storytelling

  7. Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment and executing large-scale projects

  8. Highly self-motivated leader that can work in a cross-functional capacity within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  9. Experience presenting and communicating regularly to executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA degree
