Job Description

This position is focused on providing product management support for US Bank Wealth Management & Investment Services (WMIS) digital products. The product manager role will be responsible for supporting the Flexible Capital Platform (FCP), a line of credit origination platform. In addition, the role will participate in the identification, design, development and implementation of platform enhancement and expansion projects. The position requires experience in project management, agile project development, leadership and organization skills. The candidate will be a part of a product team that manages work across multiple cross-functional groups and platforms. The product manager role will interface with both internal and external resources to successfully deliver the projects and ensure an outstanding client and business line experience for all users of the FCP.

In the role of product manager, the candidate will partner with other product managers in the FCP product team, business SMEs across US Bank, and WMIS leadership to define product enhancements, plan project work and meet group business goals. The product manager will work in an agile environment with a development and testing team from US Bank's technology and operations services (TOS) group. In that capacity, they will meet with business owners to document requirements, write user stories, develop success criteria and support testing for those stories. They will direct their own work as well as monitor project activity across the team.

The candidate will also be expected to coordinate and facilitate meetings and working session activities to identify project goals, schedule, impacted processes and procedures and foster cooperation and collaboration from the project team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3 or more years of experience in product management, project management and agile systems development projects

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio

  • Strong knowledge of general banking, especially lending

  • Previous work on medium to high complexity projects

  • Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting requirements in user story format and making verbal and written presentations

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $84,065.00 - $98,900.00 - $108,790.00
