Robert Half International Product Manager in Boston, Massachusetts


The Product Manager will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the entire product life cycle. Listening to the market, the product Manager gathers, prioritizes and communicates product requirements that drive the development of market-driven products and solutions that support the company?s overall strategy and goals. This individual will be responsible for analyzing and understanding market needs, developing product requirements, and executing to the product roadmap with timely and highly functional releases.

Responsibilities: * Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. * Define requirements; produce market/product requirement documents. * Coordinate cross-functional team activities during the product release cycle. * Develop software release plans/schedules/project charters working closely with development to ensure customer needs, product quality standards and delivery deadlines are met. Tasks include:

  • assess scope, resources, priorities

  • communicate dates, deliverables

  • manage to key milestones

  • provide risk analysis; risk avoidance insight

  • understand/track dependencies and provide associated communications

  • Function as go-to domain expert for the organization on products managed.
  • Follow the product into the field to ensure customer success and participate in prospect and customer calls and meetings to gather requirements and resolve issues.

Qualifications: * Bachelor?s degree preferred; MBA is a plus. * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager (or equivalent) in a software or information services firm. * Experience building new products and introducing them directly to the market
