We are seeking a Product Manager to own all Products tied to Cash needs of our customers. This would include SafeCash Manger (SCM) and Cash Vault Services.
Huntington's SafeCash Manager (SCM) offers an end-to-end closed-loop cash management solution that helps customers consolidate banking depository relationships, eliminate deposit discrepancies, reduce theft, free staff from the time-intensive task of counting and auditing cash, while receiving daily provisional credit on deposits.
SafeCash Manager is a solution that provides our customers with a physical safe to keep their cash secured on the premise, while offering them optimum access to their funds from a centralized standpoint. The product is ideal for retail environments where cash is a significant portion of the total sales. The safe may offer daily credit to the customer's Huntington DDA Account. The customer will have our safe installed in a location within the store to optimize their cash handling needs. The safe offers dual control on cash at all times.
Vault Services provides businesses with large cash requirements quick access to deposited funds and the ability to place coin and currency orders when it's convenient. Customers can easily manage deposits and coin & currency ordering. Customers contract with an armored courier for the movement of funds to and from the vaults. Employing an armored courier enhances the security of the fund movement from internal fraud, as well as enhances associate security.
A Product Manager is responsible for the design, development, and marketing of the product or products that they own. Reviews and modifies existing products. Seeks new sales channels to maximize profitability and meet customer needs. This role will work very closely with our Operations colleagues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the Strategic Vision & Product roadmap: Develop a 3-year strategic vision for the products including but not limited to understanding the competitive landscape, customer needs, available/competing solutions, industry trends/networking, etc. Responsible for keeping the roadmap current.
Cross Functional Colleagues: Coordinate any needed modifications of the existing product, in conjunction with Legal, Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Information Technology, Credit Risk, Operations, Marketing, and in some cases a third-party vendor.
Innovation/Development: Advance the product set and roadmap to industry standards and drive innovative ideas in terms of market delivery. Promote a culture that encourages new ideas that drives differentiation and revenue growth. Utilize new trends and developments in the Bank' s strategic plan to shape product and service offerings.
Marketing: Maintains all training documents, FAQ’s, Online Product Catalogue page, and any other EBPP collateral.
Pricing: Manage pricing strategy and understand monthly, year to date, and year over year product financials and profitability.
Support: Provide the appropriate level of support to sales teams, including awareness, training, selling best practices. Facilitates trainings and presentations to colleagues and/or clients.
Other: duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor' s degree in marketing or related business field.
Minimum of four (4) years product management and development experience, preferably within the financial industry.
Strong PC skills.
Excellent presentation and communications skills required.
Strong analytical skills and product management experience #LI-Remote
