Meta Product Manager, Privacy in Boston, Massachusetts

Summary:

Meta Product Managers work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists and researchers to build products. We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial Product Managers who value moving quickly. This job description represents different full-time roles across Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Reality Labs.

Required Skills:

Product Manager, Privacy Responsibilities:

  1. Display leadership, organizational and execution skills

  2. Is the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals

  3. Incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps

  4. Leads and motivates a team of engineers and other cross-functional representatives, and maintains team health

  5. Understand Facebook’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry

  6. Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years product management or related industry experience in the Privacy domain

  2. Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in the following

  3. Product management or product design experience

  4. Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones

  5. Experience delivering technical presentations

  6. Experience analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data

  7. Experience of going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution

  8. Experience gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution

  9. Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design

  10. Displaying leadership, organizational and execution skills

  11. Proven communication skills

  2. Experience developing social products, technologies and platforms

  3. Experience building products that protect or isolate data, communicate about privacy or data access, or prevent privacy incidents

  4. Proven experience functioning in a regulated environment
