Clarivate’s Platform Services group is a core pillar of our organization. Our Platform team’s mission is to enable Clarivate’s business lines to bring their ideas to market more quickly, with higher quality, to create better outcomes for our customers. Our team sits centrally within Clarivate and creates capabilities, frameworks, and best practices that power our customer-facing products.

We’re currently looking for a Product Manager who is excited about building platforms and services that improve processes that drive sales, business, and customer productivity delivering efficiency, and engineering excellence. You are a self-starter and who can bring structure and organization to a variety of complex customer problems and drive solutions to those problems by bringing together multiple, distributed cross-functional teams. You’re technically strong enough to discuss implementation constraints with engineers and rounded enough to explain and communicate solutions with internal customers.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Shaping the product strategy and roadmap for key platform business processes

  • Understand the users, competitors, vendors, and conduct capability analysis regularly

  • Understand, research, and follow technology trends in the industry and in general

  • Communicate the product strategy and requirements to key stakeholders

  • Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert within the organization

  • Drive the product life cycle – ideation, design, prioritization, development, and delivery

  • Bring teams together to define and implement both product and process features, and translate them into prioritized requirements

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, sales, support, and operations

  • Assess and address business and technical risks

  • Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance

  • Define key metrics and measure the performance of the platform and product features

  • Help analyze buy/build/partner decisions for components as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of working as a product manager or business analyst for a technology company.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience

  • A strong technical background coupled with an understanding of how technology is leveraged to drive business outcomes

  • Strong cloud-focused technology knowledge

  • Familiarity with APIs, software integration, and security risk

  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence

  • Ability to think and articulate clearly, concisely, and accurately

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Highly self-motivated, confident to work on projects alone as well as leading a team

  • An enthusiastic approach to extending knowledge and learning new skills

  • Strong commitment to quality of work and good attention to detail
