Product Manager, IVD
Location: Position open remotely to CA, TX, UT, OR WA, IL, VA, MA and NC.

Our Genetic Sciences Division (GSD) based in South San Francisco is at the forefront of innovation for genetic analysis research and clinical applications. The Genetic Testing Solutions (GTS) business unit within GSD is a cross-platform organization with a goal of democratizing molecular testing globally to improve global health outcomes and accelerate return to life. The team is dedicated to working across all genetic analysis platforms with focus on high-growth opportunities.
A driven Product Manager who will develop business cases and own all product management responsibilities for Molecular IVD Products. S/He will serve as product champion and be responsible for product introduction, training, support, and life cycle management. S/He will provide market and competitive insights and strategic recommendations to enable GTS to better serve our customers and drive growth.
Support the roadmap strategy for the IVD product portfolio
Identify and analyzes market trends and competitive strategy.
Collect and analyze VOC from customers and internal stakeholders for customer requirements
Be the champion for user experience
Works collaboratively with cross-functional team members to drive growth for the business segment.
Regular updates and present to the leadership team on project status
Identifies opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product differentiation.
Leads new product development process from concept through commercialization, including the voice of customer research, the definition of customer and product requirements and value proposition, manage product launches, and sales training.
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience required
Strong product development background required
Understanding of life sciences, genomics, or molecular biology and/or qPCR technology is preferred
Business development skills and cross-functional team leadership experience required
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and resolving conflict within teams.
Demonstrated effectiveness in marketing, product management, or strategy role including participating in market analysis, planning, and new product development
Strong customer-facing experience required
Bachelor's degree required in science, engineering, businesses, economics or related field. MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
