<p><em>Candidates for this position are preferred to be based in Boston, MA and will be expected to comply with their team's hybrid work schedule requirements.</em></p>

Partnering with engineering, design, analytics, and business partners across Wayfair, our product team ensures that we’re building technology that solves important customer problems in elegant, scalable, measurable ways. Our Ops Global Returns and Incident Team  is responsible for preventing incidents from happening and assessing any returns or incidents that come back to us, to assign them to the right resale channels.</p>

<p>We are looking for an experienced product manager to own product strategy, vision, and execution of the Inspection program. These programs could look like: scaling an complex inspection process across tech and warehouse teams or launching a storefront experience to resell product to the right customer base. We look to you to help us build out a broad menu of high-performing solutions for our customers, Wayfair’s profitability, and social responsibility. </p>

<ul>

<li>Lead product discovery, strategy, and roadmap for the complex inspection process across tech and warehouse teams</li>

<li>Lead cross-functional technology team to reach world-class quality metrics while building out new capabilities to power frictionless process and tech to enable it. You’ll work with a team of dedicated engineers working out of the Boston offices and some remote tech teams</li>

<li>Partner closely with technology and operational teams to grow Wayfair’s capabilities in identifying incidents and reselling them across all stores and customer segments around the world.</li>

<li>Evangelize best practices for data ownership & stewardship, shaping our approach to a scalable and high quality platform for all purchasing flows.</li>

<li>Drive meaningful business and customer outcomes enabled by your hiqh-quality and scalable purchase platform.</li>

<p><strong>We Are a Match Because You Have:</strong></p>

<li>5+ years experience in software product management with direct experience supply chain tech</li>

<li>An ownership mentality. You proactively work to improve your product, its reliability, and plans for its future state. You propose adjustments to priorities as needed, and take responsibility for outcomes, celebrating team wins, and surfacing learning moments.</li>

<li>Good judgment. You manage risk, know when to pivot, can assess multiple paths forward, and use data to inform and advocate for the right next steps.</li>

<li>Technical acumen. You can understand intended customer and business outcomes and translate them into backend data, data service, and platform solutions that manage for scalability. You have a proven track record of sustaining and maintaining a high bar for your platform space.</li>

<li>Collaborative approach & excellent communication skills. You have experience working with multiple disciplines–engineering, design, analytics and business partners–and ability to accelerate progress toward shared goals and bring others along.</li>
