Chewy Product Manager, Gift Cards in Boston, Massachusetts

Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Product Manager on the Gift Cards team in Seattle, WA or Boston, MA. We are building out a team to create a best-in-class gifting offering that enables pet parents to share their love of Chewy with others. Our team owns and builds all B2C (Chewy.com, Chewy mobile apps) and B2B (loyalty aggregators, distribution networks, and brick & mortar) gift card purchase and redemption channels.

The ideal candidate will be an independent champion with strong business acumen, analytics, and user experience skills to bring the product to the next level. This cross-functional storyteller will use qualitative and quantitative data to introduce new and optimize existing customer-facing experiences, as well as develop marketing and creative strategies to grow the product.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and develop the product roadmap, launching new customer-facing capabilities across Web, iOS native, and Android native apps

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, UX design, and other stakeholder teams to refine requirements and deliver roadmap items

  • Create a marketing strategy to drive customer awareness and adoption of Chewy gifting, collaborating with core marketing team for on- and off-site placements

  • Own creative strategy for Gift Card artwork, collaborating with core creative team

  • Identify measurement needs and run A/B tests for new features or optimizations of existing features

  • Work with cross-functional teams (Ops, Tech, Product, Finance, Accounting, Customer Service, Marketing) to address day-to-day issues including root cause identification and solution development

  • Oversee gift card fraud and risk management for issues and expediting appropriate action; modify and enhance controls as appropriate

  • Guide and assist customer service with addressing unique customer support cases

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with analytical or quantitative concentration

  • 2-3 years of related eCommerce, product management, customer-facing digital, or analytics work experience

  • Data driven and proficient with manipulating and analyzing large datasets

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel to successful completion

  • Strong project management experience and skills

  • Strong process analysis, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills essential

  • Entrepreneurial mindset to own the business and demonstrated track record of driving results

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed, and ambiguous environment

  • Ability to use both formal and informal influencing skills across the organization

  • Exceptional ability to understand complex issues and translate for consumption by technical and non-technical audiences at all levels

  • Position may require occasional domestic travel

Bonus (if applicable):

  • Gift Card industry experience

  • Prior experience with SQL or Tableau preferred
