Our Storefront team is responsible for building and growing the native apps and websites customers use to shop our collection. We use respected technologies to make shopping for our millions of products feel simple and personal. Customers should feel as comfortable browsing our site from the comfort of their home laptop as they do finalizing purchase decisions from their phones on-the-go.

Wayfair is undertaking a significant technology transformation to empower teams to independently build and deploy services and interfaces. Storefront is extending this journey to rethink how we deliver tailored, world-class customer shopping experiences. We are leveraging the power of platforms to help teams deliver more tailored experiences to our customers faster than ever before.

The frontend platform team is responsible for the frameworks, tooling, and capabilities that allow all frontend developers at Wayfair to succeed at work. We establish the design and architectural best practices that enable frontend engineers to build robust, scalable, and performant web experiences that delight our customers and support millions of daily requests. While we sit within Wayfair’s Storefront team, we support all front end engineers at Wayfair. This includes teams building websites for suppliers, customer service agents, our robust supply chain and delivery network, as well as for our internal administrative tools.

What You'll Do

<ul>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Own product development and roadmaps.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Partner with engineers and business stakeholders to understand their needs and co-develop impactful solutions that drive key business value.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Use Agile processes to collaborate with partnering teams to execute the roadmap.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Communicate and promote the product vision and progress throughout Wayfair to all partners, including senior stakeholders.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Develop and monitor OKRs for key product initiatives and ensure alignment with stakeholder objectives.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Work with management to improve product craft and processes throughout your workgroup.</li>

Who You Are

<li style="font-weight: 400;">4 + years building platform solutions at scale from concept to launch and beyond.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Deep enthusiasm for understanding customer problems and learning about our frontend platform</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Demonstrated success in creating products that drive business impact.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the senior partner level.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Positive, people-oriented, and collaborative attitude.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">A mentality that pushes through issues with creative solutions and tenacity, while maintaining a grace-under-pressure demeanor</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Willingness to ask questions</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">A growth mindset and passion for continuous discovery </li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">An objective, data-driven approach to decision making</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Sufficient literacy in frontend frameworks, build pipelines, and/or frontend design and architecture to participate in making key choices, and effectively communicate with technical partners.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">[Nice to have] Experience with Next.JS and/or decoupling from a monolith </li>
