Job purpose

We areseekinga dynamic and highly strategic Synapse Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) Product Manager to join our team, driving the evolution of our information systems offerings to meet the demands of the rapidly advancing enterprise medical imaging landscape.

Position Overview:

As the Synapse EIS Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our information systems strategy. Leveraging yourexpertisein Radiology Information Systems (RIS),life-cycleof patient care, financial operations, and business development, you will lead our overall EIS related go-to-market initiatives, ensuring alignment with businessobjectivesand market needs.

The scope of this position spans the SynapseEnterprise Information Systems (EIS)family of products whichincludesSynapse RIS (Radiology Information System),patientengagement suite,physician portal,Synapse Communications,other relatedmodulesor products, as well asdevelopingand managing channelpartner integrations.The Product Manageris responsible forassessingemergingdevelopmentsofRIS/EIStrends andcoordinatingrelevantdepartments(stakeholders)toexecutetheproductplansandmeet the plan’sobjectives.

Core responsibilities include definingproduct requirements to meet market and customer needs, managingtheproductlifecycle&newreleaselaunchwithacross-functionalteam,andproactively communicatingplans/activities throughout the organization. This position reports to the EIS Business Director.

Duties and responsibilities

Key areas of responsib ility include, but are not limited to:

  • Clinical Expertise

  • Possess in-depth, advanced knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, withexpertisein core areas focused on thelife-cycleof patient care, clinical workflows, referrer and patient experiences, business analytics, and third-party integrations.

  • Technical Expertise

  • Effectivelymanagetechnicallycomplexproductlinetoachieve defined businessobjectives.

  • Collaborate with engineering and solution architects to design and implement robust and scalable solutions.

  • Provide guidance to implementations and service teams toleverageproduct offerings effectively.

  • Product Management

  • Manage the near term and long-term product roadmap.

  • Write product requirements for upcoming releases of the productbased on advanced clinical experience and marketneeds.

  • Collaborateclosely withcross-functional teamsduring the planning and development of software releases.

  • Lead alliances with our key technology partners inthe EISspace.

  • Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Responsible for managing product launches of new software releases.

  • Collaborate withacross-functionalteamtodevelop and deliver handoff materials,assistingin the development of marketing materials, including customer webinars.

  • Work with Business Unit (BU) leaders to develop andmaintainrecommend pricing, invoicing, and service models.

  • Create and deliver trainingon new product releases andofferingstoImplementation,Service, andother related team members.

  • Business Development

  • ResearchandproposenewsolutionsthatwouldimproveHCUSproductpositioninthemarket.

  • Embrace continuous feedback and product input from our sales force, both direct andour channelpartners.

  • Work with customers and potential customers to gather feedback on how to improve and extend our offerings and solve customerproblems.

  • Performcompetitiveintelligencetoensureourproductskeeppaceand stay ahead of the competition.

  • Business Intelligence

  • Leverage business intelligence tools to analyze customer usage trends.

  • Provide insights to inform strategic decision-making and service enhancements.

  • Sales and Marketing Collaboration

  • ReviewandupdateRFPresponses.

  • Performproductdemonstrationsas needed.

  • Deliver sales training on new product releases and offerings.

  • Marketing Communications

  • Collaboratewithproductmarketingonpromotionalplans, marketing collateral and other product-based communications thatdifferentiateour products in the market.

  • Author blogs on industry topics.

  • Industry activity

  • Collaboratewithmarketingmanagersontradeshowplansandmessaging and work with a cross-functional team to ensure product configuration and readiness.

  • Attendtrade shows as booth staff to engage with customers and prospects and provide product overviews and demonstrations during shows.

  • Participate in industry relevant societies and activities, such as RBMA, SIIM,HIMSS, and RSNA.

ComplywithallapplicableU.S.FoodandDrugAdministration(U.S.FDA)medicaldevice regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications

Experience

  • BachelorsDegreeor equivalent experience

  • Minimumof12yearsprofessionalindustryexperiencewithintheMedicalInformaticsmarket, ideally direct experience working in an outpatient imaging center group.

  • Significantmedical informaticsexperience as an Imaging Applications Director or Manager, RIS Administrator, or PACS Administratorwith implementation, operation, and maintenance of imaging software applications work experience.

  • Previousclinical experience as aRadiologic Technologist, Radiology department lead, or Radiology Scheduling lead preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in customer facing interactions in themarket

  • Previoussoftwareproductmanagementexperiencepreferred.

  • PreviousRISor clinical information systemsexperiencepreferred.

  • FunctionalknowledgeofDICOMandIHEpreferred.
