Internet connectivity is at the heart of Facebook's mission of giving people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. Nearly a billion people worldwide live in areas where network speeds are too slow to make full use of the mobile internet, or where mobile internet is absent altogether. The Connectivity Analytics team builds cutting edge data and analytics products to help mobile operators around the world understand their customers and mobile networks and make infrastructure investments to bring more people online to a faster internet.We are seeking a PM to lead the development of the platform that powers our suite of Connectivity Analytics products. You'll define the long-term vision and strategy for data-focused APIs and associated storage systems, our web app framework, and cross-product features such as maps and authentication. And you'll transform the platform to be fully self-service and enterprise-grade, cutting the time for product teams to get started and add new features by an order of magnitude. This could be a great role for someone with past experience with developer or SaaS/B2B products. Analytics or telecom/networking experience is helpful, but not required.

Required Skills:

  1. Identify significant opportunities and drive product vision, strategies, and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals

  2. Understand strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry

  3. Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps

  4. Lead and motivate teams of engineers and other cross-functional counterparts and maintain team health

  5. Influence technical and business stakeholders across management levels

  6. Define and analyze goals and metrics to ensure product success

  7. Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of product management or related industry experience

  2. Experience working within Internet companies and technical environments

  3. Experience driving projects with cross-functional colleagues

  4. Communication and presentation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience creating developer products, technologies and platforms

  2. Experience developing analytics or telecommunications products

  3. Experience creating new products from scratch and growing existing products. Expreience recognizing when products should be repositioned or sunset and managing deprecations

  4. BA/BS degree in a technical discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
